The murder of young, peaceful patriot and happy political warrior Charlie Kirk yesterday didn’t happen in a vacuum.
It occurred in a country where elite institutions defend Hamas’s violence, teach courses about “eliminating whiteness,” and goad young people to hate their own parents, their country, and the Church.
Kirk spent much of his foreshortened life combatting such madness, courageously going on the very campuses where such political satanism is preached, and speaking with friendly honesty to the kids who face indoctrination. He built a powerful political turnout organization in Turning Point USA and established himself as a fixture on Real America’s Voice.
Go check out some of his past shows to see just how good he was — not just good at broadcasting, but good, period: a kind, honest, dedicated human being and serious Christian. Here’s one of Charlie’s shows where he hosted Stream cofounders James Robison and Jay Richards.
I feel confident that Charlie is in Heaven with Jesus now instead of this increasingly chaotic realm.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace.
MSNBC Blames the Victim
We already reported this media atrocity yesterday. But it bears repeating:
MSNBC is now blaming Charlie Kirk for being shot.
“You can’t stop with these awful thoughts you have and then saying these awful words and then not expect awful actions to take place”
What a disgusting thing to say. pic.twitter.com/iPX4NiQXZl

How do you share a country with people who work as journalists but think that expressing political opinions merits an assassination attempt? The answer is simple but grim: You beat them, relentlessly, in politics and strip them of power. You dismantle their institutions, and fine and regulate their networks into penury. You keep their twitchy hands away from the instruments of violence, as if they were dangerous mental patients. You never, never let them gaslight you into meeting their outrageous demands. You don’t negotiate with terrorists.
Secret Service Misses Gun on Premises at Trump Event
At one point last summer we were millimeters away from losing our country when an assassin’s bullet struck Donald Trump in the ear. Now there’s been another potential close call, revealing grave weaknesses in presidential security. RealClearPolitics reports on
a security breach last week at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, in which a club member was able to get a semi-automatic Glock handgun through security checkpoints and into the club. The gun was not located anywhere near Trump, who was on the golf course, and the firearm never posed a danger to the president, several sources familiar with the breach asserted.
The club member who inadvertently had the Glock in his bag that day when he entered the golf club was chagrined that the Secret Service had manually searched the bag without finding the gun.
The shaken and incensed club member took the initiative to tell the Secret Service that he accidentally got the gun through security and pressed the agents and officers protecting Trump at the golf course as to how they could have failed to find it. Other club members also wanted to know how the Secret Service could be sure there were no other weapons brought into the club that day, several sources told RCP.
Secret Service agents interviewed the man about his experience, and the agency launched an investigation into the breach, placing the Uniformed Division officer who had screened the man with the Glock on administrative leave while the probe takes place.
Come on people. A few days after the Glock incident, Trump was confronted by angry extremist protestors at close quarters
inside Joe’s Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, a swanky D.C. restaurant a block and a half from the White House.
The pro-Hamas far-left Code Pink demonstrators held Palestinian flags and unfurled smaller banners disrupting Trump’s and his entourage’s arrival for the president’s first dining out experience in a D.C. restaurant since his second term began in January. Trump was captured on video, visibly angry, asking for protesters to be removed from the restaurant….
Videos of the protesters shouting at Trump for more than 30 seconds from just steps away before Secret Service led the group out of the restaurant sparked angry rebukes from the MAGA faithful.
“Where the hell is the @SecretService?” far-right activist Laura Loomer demanded in an X.com post. “How did they get within inches of him? This is insane. Palestinian ‘activists in DC go around shooting people. How did this happen!? Unacceptable!”
Newsmax host Todd Starnes also demanded to know how the Secret Service allowed “a bunch of pro-Hamas protesters” to access the restaurant Trump chose for his first dining out experience in D.C. this year.
“Not a good look for the Secret Service tonight,” Starnes remarked.
Did Drones Cause a Close Call with War Against Russia?
a small number of Russian drones allegedly violated Polish airspace during last night’s air raid on western Ukraine targets.
Warsaw International Airport was closed, and Polish air force jets were scrambled to tackle the threat, with additional NATO planes also deployed.
It soon became apparent that it was NOT an attack, since all of the drones shown by Polish press so far consisted of non-armed Gerbera decoy drones, not the heavily armed Geraniums that are wreaking havoc to Ukrainian defenses.
Warmongers such as Kiev regime head Volodymyr Zelensky, failing French President Emmanuel Macron and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius took the opportunity to try to bang war drums to escalate the situation.
President Trump must keep a cool head and seek a reset with Moscow instead of catering to America’s frenemies in NATO, who care more about suppressing free speech and importing jihadis than protecting “Western values,” whatever that means anymore.
Pray for Peace
With such international incidents and the escalating division and violence here at home, we need to pray for peace at every level — from the individual heart and home to the borders between mighty nations.
Here’s a powerful prayer composed by the pope who witnessed World War II and wicked dictatorship firsthand, Pius XII:
Almighty and eternal God. May your grace enkindle in all of us a love for the many unfortunate people whom poverty and misery reduce to a condition of life unworthy of human beings.
Arouse in the hearts of those who call you Father a hunger and thirst for social justice and for fraternal charity in deeds and in truth.
Grant, O Lord,
peace in our days,
peace to souls,
peace to families,
peace to our country,
and peace among nations.
Amen.
The great Billy Graham offered this reflection on the source of peace back in 1976:
Before the Big Four Conference in Geneva, I watched President Eisenhower kneel in a chapel and ask God for divine guidance in the deliberations to follow. I felt sure that God would answer his earnest prayer. I believe that He did, for President Eisenhower during those days displayed the spirit of a true peacemaker on the international level.
The only corrective measure in establishing peace is for men as individuals to know the peace of God. Though I am not wholly averse to movements which strive in one way or another for world peace, I have a strong conviction that such peace will never come unless there is a spiritual dynamic at the core.
I pray for wars to cease, just as I pray for crime to stop; but I know that the basic cause of both crime and war is the inherent sinfulness of human nature. The world cannot be reborn until men are born again and are at peace with God.
