I won’t say “God has a sense of humor” because there’s nothing godly about what happened in Dallas yesterday. But we must register the grim irony. Dallas TV station WFAA reports:
One ICE detainee was killed and two others were wounded after a shooter “opened fire” on a Dallas ICE facility Wednesday morning, Department of Homeland Security officials said. …
The shooter later died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a statement from ICE officials. … No law enforcement officers were injured the shooting, which unfolded around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday at the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement office at 8101 North Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, off Interstate 35E.
ICE officials in a statement said a shooter began “firing indiscriminately at the building, including at a transport van in the sallyport.”
“We can confirm that three detainees were shot while inside the van. Of the three, one has been confirmed deceased and two are in critical condition,” ICE said in a statement. “No ICE officers were physically injured, and we are working alongside the FBI and local law enforcement on this ongoing investigation.”
Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux said an officer located the shooter on the roof of a nearby building.
Officials found rounds of ammunition near the suspected shooter that contained “anti-ICE” messages, according to Joe Rothrock, special agent in charge of the Dallas FBI Field Office.

So someone who is allegedly an advocate for immigrants goes on a rampage and shoots up … immigrants. Could anything better expose the lie that the Left is interested in protecting or helping individual human beings who enter America? When 450,000 immigrant children went missing, and many were sent to sweatshops and sex traffickers thanks to Biden regime negligence, where was the outrage? Where were the Catholic bishops and Christianity Today editorials protesting that human tragedy?
No, the Left turns out to protect human traffickers and gang members while letting innocent children be victimized, even as leftists preen about their “empathy” and “compassion” in pursuit of “social justice.” That tells you its real agenda: sowing chaos and bringing down “the System,” creating anarchy to make us all yearn for tyranny. And as we remember from 2020’s insane lockdowns and censorship, they’re ready and willing to impose authoritarianism the first chance they get.
The anarchy has to come first, though, and it is already here. On Tuesday, an Antifa mob conducted a highly organized, military-style attack on a federal building in Eugene, Oregon:

We haven’t seen such a widespread, violent conspiracy against public order in America since neo-Nazi militias in the early 1990s were robbing banks to fund terror attacks on racial minorities. That brought down the full force of a massive federal crackdown by the Clinton administration. When will President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice bring the hammer down on this much larger, more widely supported seditious movement? Antifa has foreign ties, which gives the president more legal power to pursue it as a threat to national security.
Trump’s failure to halt the George Floyd riots in 2020 likely hurt him at the polls — as the Left intended. Remember when Michelle Obama told the American people that if they didn’t vote for Biden, the chaos would get much worse? How about when the riots stopped on a dime all across the country as soon as the Democratic National Convention began? That wasn’t a coincidence; it was a conspiracy. And so is what’s happening now.
The Left Weaponizes Transgender Madness to Form Political Soldiers
We’ve written here before about how transgender ideology is the most radicalizing single force today, since it teaches people to believe that their own bodies are their enemies and that anyone who doesn’t placate and agree with their sexualized delusions is committing “violence” against them — and hence fair game for attacks. (Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer soaked in such ideology from his transgender boyfriend.) Now the White House is taking notice of this threat. Lifezette reports:
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday that President Donald Trump’s administration is taking the threat of violence involving transgender-identifying individuals and their supporters “seriously” in response to a series of recent high-profile attacks.
Leavitt acknowledged that while transgender-identifying adults make up less than 1 percent of the U.S. population, multiple violent incidents in recent years have raised concerns.
“It’s definitely something worth looking into and I think anyone who denies that at this point is being willfully ignorant,” Leavitt said during Monday’s press briefing. …
The remarks come after the September 10 assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was shot in the neck while answering a question on mass shootings involving transgender individuals.
How much more violent are transgender activists than the rest of the population? If we used school shootings as the metric, we’d conclude that these mentally ill people dosed up with hormones and radical ideology are 50 times more dangerous:

Where did all this literal madness begin? With a dishonest Supreme Court decision in 2015 that redefined marriage, attacking the fundamental building block of society and equating unnatural relationships with natural ones. That’s what launched the transgender movement into the mainstream. It turns out that ideas really do have consequences.
Louisiana State University Honors Charlie Kirk with Lecture Series
Louisiana State University is the first school in America to honor the memory of Charlie Kirk, and it deserves kudos for doing so. Kirk was devoted to college students, and risked his safety on a regular basis to try to pry those lambs from the jaws of tenured wolves. He died in the course of duty. It’s entirely fitting that a Southern school with a massively Christian student body is commemorating him. Campus Reform reports:
Louisiana State University (LSU) has announced its plans to develop a lecture series focused on “civil discourse and freedom of speech” in honor of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.
The program will be devoted to the conservative commentator and his advocacy for American values: “Let Freedom Ring: An LSU Lecture Series Promoting Civil Discourse and Wide-Ranging Viewpoints in Honor of Charlie Kirk.”
The LSU Foundation says it “seeks to be the first university in the country to tangibly reassert its commitment to civil discourse and freedom of speech.”
“LSU has a long history of visible support for free speech, apparent in such venues as the historic free speech alley,” the release adds.
I remember Free Speech Alley outside the LSU Student Union. That’s where I used to debate fiery evangelists from Jimmy Swaggart Bible College on the issues separating Catholics and Protestants while I was getting my doctorate there. Good times under the live oak trees…. God bless LSU.

Hillary Clinton Tries to Blame Conservatives for Censorship and Divisiveness
Gateway Pundit reports on the latest lame attempt to hypnotize citizens about the real source of escalating violence, division, and threats to free speech. Hillary Clinton went on MSNBC to paint Jimmy Kimmel as a martyr to government censorship and the Right as a threat to democracy. She said of the backlash against Kimmel for lying about Charlie Kirk’s murder:
I view it as very dangerous. It is right out of the authoritarian playbook … Silence your opponents. Cripple the media that doesn’t give you the slavish attention and agreement that you desire. Use the power of the government to go after corporations and individuals.
In response, Gateway Pundit published a detailed 14-page report on how the Biden regime and leftist social media platforms used their power to try to silence just that single website. It’s chilling. (And very familiar to us at The Stream. We used to get millions of views each year from Facebook before 2018 or so — when that platform jiggered its algorithm to choke off traffic to sites that posted “misinformation.”)
