Thousands Will Join 22nd Annual Walk for Life West Coast

On January 24, 2026 tens of thousands of pro-lifers of every age, race, and religion will gather at San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza to stand for women and babies at the 22^nd annual Walk for Life West Coast.

The day begins at 9:30 AM with the Walk for Life Mass at St. Mary’s Cathedral celebrated by San Francisco’s Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone. The Walk for Life West Coast will rally begins at 12:30 PM in the City’s Civic Center Plaza. The invocation will be given by the Right Reverend Vasily, Bishop of San Francisco and the West of the Orthodox Christians of America. Speakers include human rights activist/film producer Jason Jones; Ordained pastor and Executive Director of Life Services, a pregnancy medical center, Glendie Loranger; Abortion Pill Reversal advocate Elizabeth Barrett; and the Reverend Clenard Childress of BlackGenocide.org. At 1:30, following the rally, participants will march down Market Street to Embarcadero Plaza.

Mr. Jones said “I am honored to stand with the San Francisco Walk for Life, a movement that calls our nation to remember the dignity of every human person. The Walk for Life West Coast is the second largest pro-life event in the country, behind only the March for Life in Washington , DC. Every January the Walk draws tens of thousands of peaceful pro-life activists from all over the country.
