‘Bread Not Stones’ documentary spotlights Charlotte Diocese’s Latin Mass suppression

As the Diocese of Charlotte, whose local bishop plans to suppress the TLM next month, an hour-long film gathers testimonies from priests and parishioners who say the traditional liturgy has transformed their lives and communities. In May, Bishop Michael Martin of Charlotte announced the end of parish-based traditional liturgies, citing Pope Francis’ 2021 motu proprio Traditionis Custodes as the basis for the change.
