43 Planned Parenthood Abortion Centers Have Closed Thanks to Defunding

The Planned Parenthood abortion business has released a new report that details the closures that have happened since Congress passed and President Donald Trump signed a law defunding the abortion company.

That means good news for the majority of Americans who are pro-life and don’t want their tax dollars going to an abortion agency that kills babies.

Over 40 Planned Parenthood abortion centers shuttered their doors this year, a direct result of the Trump administration’s successful defunding efforts that severed taxpayer support for its business.

The closures, detailed in Planned Parenthood’s own November 2025 impact report titled “The Harms of ‘Defunding’ Planned Parenthood.”

“Since the beginning of 2025, nearly 50 health centers have closed due to loss of Title X funds and Medicaid reimbursements,” the report states, underscoring the profound financial pressure exerted by the policy.

Despite what the abortion giant and the media would have Americans think, the Planned Parenthood centers all participated in abortions. Some would kill babies directly with surgical abortions. Others would kill babies by selling the dangerous abortion pill that also kills and injures women. Still others would make abortion referrals – with Planned Parenthood locations in pro-life states arranging abortions in other states or using telehealth to sell abortion pills to women in violation of state pro-life laws.

The defunding provision, signed into law by President Donald Trump on July 4, 2025, marked a pivotal moment in the pro-life movement’s long-standing campaign to redirect federal dollars away from organizations that do hundreds of thousands of abortions annually.

The Planned Parenthood report itself frames the policy as a deliberate effort by “the Trump administration and its Republican backers in Congress [who] ‘defunded’ Planned Parenthood as part of a strategy to shut down health centers and ban abortion nationwide.”

The list of Planned Parenthood closures to this point is worth celebrating. It’s a victory. A win in a small battle. But the larger war against killing babies in abortions continues. And like Carney, millions of pro-life Americans will continue fighting.
