More than 50 Pro-Life, Pro-Family leaders and legislators joined a letter sponsored by Students for Life Action (SFLAction), calling on President Trump to direct his administration to debar Planned Parenthood, the nation’s number one abortion vendor and distributor of wrong-sex hormones. Leaders from Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, National Right to Life, Americans United for Life, Family Research Council, Family Policy Alliance, Concerned Women for America, Live Action, Center for Medical Progress, and many others are asking the President to authorize investigation of Planned Parenthood’s horrific track record.
“Being good a paperwork does not qualify anyone to receive government support,” noted SFLAction President Kristan Hawkins. “To debar Planned Parenthood – block them from ALL federal support – we simply need an honest look at their behavior and the kind of ‘service’ they are selling. Not even the New York Times thinks Planned Parenthood is good at their chosen profession. Think of this like a long overdue job review after many complaints all leading to one conclusion – Planned Parenthood should be fired.”
The groups take on the abortion mega vendor’s claims to be “qualified” to participate in federal programs, something brought up in court repeatedly when they push back against any cuts in federal taxpayer support.

The Pro-Life leaders write: “The work that the GOP did in the ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ made it possible to cut Planned Parenthood from Medicaid funding for one year, a move that abortion supporters vehemently opposed, claiming that Planned Parenthood was ‘qualified’ to get federal funds. Those claims of being qualified to participate in programs were the heart of the abortion industry’s argument in Medina v. Planned Parenthood South Atlantic as well.
“But Planned Parenthood’s track record shows that they should not be allowed to receive a single penny of taxpayer support. They are unqualified to work for the American taxpayer. Given the many complaints against them, the debarment process will allow the federal government to officially find them unqualified and therefore ineligible to participate in any federal programs or to receive any federal funds.”

The letter release comes during SFLAction’s Campaign to Trump Planned Parenthood, calling for members of Congress to also demand that Planned Parenthood be investigated, debarred, and prevented from receiving any federal support. Also taking place today is a private briefing for Capitol Hill staff on the process of debarment. (Closed to the Press.)

The focus of the call for investigation is on the Small Business Administration (SBA), which was first contacted by U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Joni Ernst and who, in their own letter, drew the agency’s attention [1]“to the unlawful participation of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) in the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).”
On Monday, Hawkins delivered more than 10,000 petitions to the SBA, asking for a debarment investigation in light of the U.S. Senators’ concerns as well as additional accusations detailed in her own letter. This is added to the more than 57,000 petitions Hawkins delivered to House Speaker Mike Johnson, calling for Planned Parenthood to be defunded.
Reasons for review included:
- Reports of illegal trafficking in baby body parts
- Investigation of Medicare/Medicaid Fraud
- Evidence of failing to follow Health & Safety Standards
- Repeated Failures to Report Sex Crimes
- Employee Reports & Legal Action from Accusations of a Racist Work Environment

From October 20th through 24th, The Pro-Life Generation (PLG) began calling on citizens to send a clear message to Washington, urging President Trump to take executive action to debar Planned Parenthood.
The PLG also organized peaceful protests and demonstrations at local Planned Parenthood facilities or government offices. Constituents are also being encouraged to deliver letters to Congress by either hand-delivering or mailing letters to support defunding efforts, as well as calling upon students to set up tabling events or create sidewalk chalk messages on their campus to raise awareness and spark conversations.
“Women & girls won’t miss Planned Parenthood,” noted Hawkins. “Federally Qualified Health Centers outnumber Planned Parenthood and can easily absorb their current traffic while providing women and families with the wide range of real health care they need.”
As SFLA has reported: There are more than 17,890 FQHCs, FQHC service sites, and FQHC “look-a-likes” across the United States. 5,300 of these FQHCs specifically provide women’s health services. Planned Parenthood, on the other hand, has fewer than 600 facilities. FQHCs served 32.5 million patients in 2024, compared to the 2.08 million of Planned Parenthood, as reported in their most recent annual report. More on the comparison on our website here. And while Planned Parenthood likes to pretend they have a monopoly on contraception, if you can get a Starbucks & a Big Mac, you can get the pill.
