The Left faces a conundrum.
If you have a worldview that’s 1) internally incoherent, 2) hysterically moralistic, and 3) grounded in nothing but the current group preferences of the powerful, what can you do to enforce it on the masses? You can’t convince them rationally, so that’s off the table. You can try gaslighting them and manipulating their sentiments. That works pretty well sometimes, provided you dominate the means of communication. But pesky dissidents wielding stupid facts and tedious arguments will often burst your balloon.
No, the only way to force absolute nonsense into the brains of the millions is to follow the strategy of every tyrannical government, superstitious tribe, and thuggish crime family in history: you must employ force. You must censor opposing speech, punish those who flout you, and make hideous examples of the courageous and the stubborn. You must take as your motto the Ingsoc party’s maxim in George Orwell’s 1984: “A boot, crushing a human face, forever.”
You don’t always have to straight up murder your opponents — although an occasional execution really does help morale. Remember how in 2020 the System persecuted Omaha business owner Jake Gardner with fake hate crime charges for shooting a looter in self-defense? Then crowdfunding sites shut down his defense fund, his landlord evicted him, and after he’d been falsely labeled a “white nationalist” and threatened with prison, war hero Gardner despaired and took his own life. After that, a Democratic lawmaker went on Twitter to gloat about his death. That’s world-class opinion control.
Prison Terms Will Continue Until Free Speech Ends
But sometimes a prison term or a ruined career will do the job. The European Conservative reports how the British government is silencing natives who object to the policy of replacing them with Muslim refugees/colonists. One Briton, Lucy Connolly, reacted to one refugee’s murder of several children by writing a violent social media post — which she quickly took down. She’s now serving a prison term longer than that faced by actual migrant rapists. And the story doesn’t end there.
Not only will the System in Britain punish natives for violent speech more than migrants for violent acts, it also will swoop down and destroy people for criticizing its double standard:
What better way for a state to show its rejection of free speech than by destroying the lives of those who express even the mildest support for it? In Britain today, this isn’t a theoretical concern but a reality — as shown by the latest developments in the Lucy Connolly case, which some wrongly believe to be over.
The Telegraph revealed on Sunday that a teacher who has dedicated his working life to education was sacked because of a wholly inoffensive social media post. Simon Pearson, 56, said Connolly’s comments—“set fire to all the f*****g [migrant] hotels full of the b******s for all I care,” posted after the Southport knife attack—were “obviously wrong” but that she “should not have been jailed” for them. An opinion likely shared by most Britons.
Pearson was dismissed following an internal investigation prompted by a complaint from a Muslim representative of the National Education Union (NEU), which is supposed to protect workers. The Telegraph cites this probe as having found that Pearson’s posts “had the potential to bring [the institution, Preston College] into disrepute.”
Mob Rule Bans MAGA Hat
Don’t get smug about our own First Amendment preventing such outrages over here. As I reported here last week, under the Biden regime the U.S. Department of Justice was looking for a “legal hook” to prosecute PTA moms as “domestic terrorists” for opposing groomer porn in schools. Even with President Donald Trump back in office, you can get hounded out of a sporting event for expressing support for him, as The Western Journal reports:
A Missouri man was kicked out of a St. Louis City SC soccer game on July 26 for wearing an iconic “Make America Great Again” hat.
The man, Michael Weitzel, filmed the entire exchange and posted it online. Now, the federal government is reportedly looking into whether the man’s civil rights were violated.
The video showed four security officers approaching him during the match at Energizer Park.

CIA Director Speaks of “Greatest Political Scandal” of Our Time
We cannot let up, relent, or relax until the full story is told of the Democrats’ attempted coup in 2016, conducted with the full cooperation of Barack Obama and the leadership of our Deep State in collusion with Hillary Clinton. We must keep the pressure on until we see indictments leading to prison terms. Breitbart reports on the comments of CIA Director John Ratcliffe, appearing this weekend on Fox News’ Sunday Night in America:
Ratcliffe noted 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s role and called it the “greatest political scandal” in a lifetime…. ‘[T]here was Intelligence from foreign Intelligence services, that one U.S. presidential candidate was trying to frame another candidate for treason, claiming that he was an agent of a foreign power, an agent of Russia. …
‘[O]n July 31, 2016 the FBI did something as shocking as it was unprecedented. They opened a criminal investigation into a nominee for president, a candidate for president, Donald Trump, something that had never been done before. But what you learned in John Brennan’s annex this week was six days before that, Russian Intelligence predicted that’s exactly what would happen, that there was a Hillary Clinton plan, and that the FBI would pour oil on the fire of a firestorm that would consume the country for the next three years.’
Even after Trump was elected, the FBI followed Obama’s lead, and continued to pursue a case it knew was based on fake evidence, leaking to the media to undermine President Trump — in the hopes, no doubt ,of forcing him out of office in favor of the limp puppet Mike Pence.
“Worse than Watergate,” many are saying. That’s like complaining that the assassination of Abraham Lincoln ruined the play. The only parallel we have in our national history of American leaders acting like this is General Benedict Arnold trying to sell West Point to the British.
Embattled Missouri Couple Finally Get Their Lives Back
In another time warp to the dark year 2020, let’s remember Mark and Patricia McCloskey. The Blaze reports their story might finally have reached a somewhat happy ending:
In 2020, McCloskey and his wife, Patricia, went viral in the media after Mark wielded an AR-15 on his porch alongside his pistol-packing wife as a large group of Black Lives Matter protesters demonstrated down their private street.
The protesters broke down an iron gate leading into the McCloskeys’ neighborhood, leading the couple to say they were “in fear of [their] lives” at the time.
Mr. McCloskey eventually surrendered the couple’s guns as part of an agreement in which he pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault and his wife pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment, both misdemeanors, after being originally charged with felonies.
