The Christian church in Armenia, one of the oldest Christian civilizations in the world, is being persecuted by the Islamo-Marxist nation of Azerbaijan and by the Armenian government itself, explains Armenian human rights lawyer Harry Kassakhian to The New American’s Alex Newman for Conversations That Matter.

While President Donald Trump’s peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia is a tremendous accomplishment, concerns about enforcement are growing, as Azerbaijan has a long history of breaking their own laws, Kassakhian explained. All the while, Christians in Armenia continue to be oppressed by their own government through religious and educational control.
