It’s not Hillary Clinton in handcuffs or Andrew Weissman in an orange jumpsuit, but it’s a start.
Or maybe it’s a symbol: a member of the entitled classes who wields the power of a prosecutor in this age of politicized lawfare and double-standard justice getting busted for breaking the law and causing a public disturbance. She responds not by cooperating, but taunting and threatening a blue-collar cop. She keeps ordering him to turn off his bodycam, threatening his job and pension, and generally acting like a Japanese samurai getting set upon by the peasants.
Ladies and germs, let me introduce Special Assistant Attorney General Devon Hogan Flanagan of Rhode Island. Gateway Pundit tells her story:
[A] Democrat-appointed prosecutor with the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office, [Flanagan] was arrested in Newport after refusing to leave a restaurant and berating responding officers with her supposed “status.”
According to a press release from the Newport Police Department, officers were dispatched at 9:51 p.m. on August 14 to the Clarke Cooke House after an entitled Hogan and her friend, Veronica Hannan, reportedly refused repeated requests to leave.
According to the bodycam footage obtained by Nicole Solas, Hogan repeatedly shouted “I’M AN AG” ELEVEN times while resisting officers. She even threatened police: “Buddy, you’re gonna regret this.”

As of now, Flanagan still has her job. In her spare time, however, she serves as a blonde microcosm of our entitled elites — who get rich on insider trading while spouting socialist slogans, commit real estate fraud while falsely prosecuting conservatives, and send their blonde nepo-babies to pricey private schools while fighting vouchers for black inner-city kids.
The whole of President Donald Trump’s political appeal consists in his scorn for such people, which he shares with millions of Americans who are heartily sick of living in a self-righteous post-Christian oligarchy. As one FBI or CIA agent after another gets fired, stripped of his lucrative security clearance, and (God willing) prosecuted, the public will savor the spectacle of Haman getting hung on his very own gallows.

How do our oligarchs keep piling up their wealth without either producing anything or hiring any Americans? By shunting the work onto poorly paid foreigners — illegals they hire or foreign workers they import using crass legal loopholes. Manhattan Appeals Court Dumps Judgment on Fake Civil Fraud Case Against Trump
Remember that trumped-up fraud case that lawfare warrior New York Attorney General Leticia James prosecuted against Donald Trump, in which he allegedly inflated the value of real estate properties — even though there were no victims, his customers didn’t complain, and everybody made money? James managed to wring a $550 million judgment against Trump for this victimless noncrime, which was just one front in the lawless prosecutorial war against the president. But a court just tossed out that laughable award. Trump is rightly crowing about his victory on social media:
How outrageous was that damage award? Centrist legal scholar Jonathan Turley unpacked that back in 2024:
The combination of the draconian fine and the threshold deposit for appeal has produced a shudder throughout the New York business community. The city is already experiencing an exodus of businesses and individuals from the top tax brackets. Rising crime, taxes, and eat-the-rich politics have made New York a hostile environment for businesses. At a time with rising costs from undocumented migrants, even Mayor Eric Adams is alarmed about the loss of his high earners.
The case brought by Attorney General Letitia James was unnerving for many. James previously sought to dissolve the National Rifle Association and campaigned on bagging Trump on some unnamed offense. The ecstasy expressed by many in the city reinforced the image of a thrill-kill chase around the island of Manhattan, like a corporate version of “Lord of the Flies.” …
If the only protection in New York is the discretion of figures like James, few businesses would relish the future. The message is that you can expect blind and equal justice so long as you don’t run afoul of the Democrats in power.
If you are unpopular, you could be looking at not only unprecedented actions and fines, but a need to virtually liquidate your assets just to be able to appeal a decision.
This should shock the conscience of anyone concerned about the integrity and fairness of the New York legal system. Confiscatory fines and required deposits leave not just defendants but the entire system bankrupt.
The overturning of New York’s outrageous abuse of justice is just one more instance of what Americans are seeing nationwide, from the streets of Washington, D.C. to the firings in the Deep State: We’re taking out the trash.
America to Exclude Immigrants Who Hate America
CNN is squealing like the proverbial stuck pig about this one: A new State Department policy that seeks to exclude immigrants who openly hate America and seek to destroy it. This the network compares to “McCarthyism,” which was a perfectly legitimate (if sometimes heavy-handed) effort to stop Communist subversion on behalf of genocidal tyrant Joseph Stalin. CNN reports, spitting with rage:
People applying to live or work in the United States will now be screened for “anti-Americanism,” including having their social media checked, authorities announced on Tuesday, in a tightening of restrictions that has alarmed immigration advocates and lawyers.
Immigration officers will be able to look at whether applicants have had “any involvement in anti-American or terrorist organizations,” or whether there is any “evidence of antisemitic activity,” said the policy update by US Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).
Social media vetting, already introduced into immigration screening in June by the Trump administration, will be expanded to include searches for any “anti-American activity,” it said.
It’s the latest step in the administration’s crackdown on immigration regulations, with many new actions likely to deter immigrants and international students from coming to the US.
The State Department has revoked more than 6,000 student visas this year, an official said on Monday. And in June, the State Department said embassies and consulates must vet student visa applicants for “hostile attitudes towards our citizens, culture, government, institutions, or founding principles.”
“America’s benefits should not be given to those who despise the country and promote anti-American ideologies,” said USCIS spokesperson Matthew Tragesser in a news release on Tuesday.
It’s as if we’re waking up from a long, bewildering national nightmare to hear the song of birds from outside a clean, curtained window.
