Today, thousands of pro-life Americans across the country are coming together to commemorate National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, a solemn day dedicated to honoring the millions of preborn lives lost to abortion.
This is a day to pause, reflect, and pray for the innocent lives taken too soon, and to renew our commitment to protecting the sanctity of life at all stages.
We invite you to join your local prayer vigil at one of the sites located across the country. Find a site near you by clicking here.
Yet, even during this somber day of remembrance, we are reminded that not all abortion stories end in tragedy. Acts of hope and courage are taking place every day, and this is what drives Thomas More Society’s mission.

Here’s one example…
One such story is that of Ashley, a young woman who found herself at a difficult crossroads, overwhelmed and uncertain as the father of her child pressured her to have an abortion against her will.
She was told by abortion facility staff that her decision to take the abortion pill was final—that there was no way to save her baby despite her immediate regret. “I felt trapped, like I had no options left,” Ashley later recalled.
Devastated but unwilling to accept this as the end of the story, she desperately searched the internet for answers. That’s when she found Heartbeat International’s Abortion Pill Reversal® Network.
With the guidance of their dedicated team, Ashley began the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol in a race against time to save her preborn child.
“[Their team] gave me hope when I thought all was lost,” she said.
Today, thanks to her courageous choice and the science-backed APR protocol, Ashley is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter, Thailynn, a living testament to the power of hope and the sanctity of life.
Reflecting on her experience, Ashley shared, “They saved not only my life, but my daughter’s life. I was given a second chance to choose life, and I’ll be forever grateful.”
Stories like Ashley’s are at the heart of Thomas More Society’s legal battles.
Stories like hers are why we are standing in defense of Heartbeat International and pregnancy centers across the nation against a wave of pro-abortion lawsuits that seek to shut down this life-saving work.
These pro-life centers offer not only free resources and pregnancy support but also emotional and spiritual care, helping women navigate some of the most challenging moments of their lives with dignity and compassion. Our legal efforts are protecting their right to serve, despite rising challenges from pro-abortion laws and politicians that seek to silence their vital work.
