On Monday we reported that Democrats are rallying behind a candidate for chief law enforcement officer in George Washington’s home state of Virginia who fantasized about gunning down a Republican in front of his “fascist kids.” Now former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has come out in support of Democrat Jay Jones, notwithstanding his murder fantasies:

And that’s not even the worst Democrat candidate news today. Ladies and germs, I present for your edification the slow-motion circus train wreck that is Democrat frontrunner for California governor Katie Porter. The New York Post reports that her ex-husband accused her of severe emotional and physical abuse. He said she
threw “toys, books and other objects” at him during their marriage — even pouring scalding-hot mashed potatoes on his head during a fight, according to divorce records.
Matthew Hoffman, who filed for divorce from Porter in 2013, said in a request for a restraining order dated April 30 of that year that he was “routinely” called a “f—ing idiot” and “f—ing incompetent” by his rage-prone spouse, who also shattered a glass coffee pot on their kitchen counter in March 2012 when she felt their house wasn’t clean enough.
“She would not let me have a cell phone because she said, ‘You’re too f—ing dumb to operate it,’” Hoffman said of Porter, 49, who has also been accused of ridiculing former members of her staff.
“When she gets angry, she will claw and scratch her arms and then say to me ‘Look what you made me do!’” Hoffman also said in the records, first obtained by DailyMail.com. “She regularly says that I am a bad parent in front of the kids … Recently the children began spitting at me and throwing their food at me, calling me ‘bad daddy.’”
Her public life is just as interesting. Just after his re-election, Porter accused President Donald Trump of traumatizing her daughter:

But the cherry landed on top of Porter’s unhinged rage cake when she did a friendly interview with a run-of-the-mill CBS local reporter, who was questioning every Democrat candidate in the California governor’s race to succeed the slick limousine liberal Gavin Newsom. Porter showed that she’s of a very different breed — bristling at straightforward questions, warning that she would walk off the show, and even seeming to threaten the reporter. Some on social media said the interview recalled the interviews between Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins in The Silence of the Lambs:

I don’t think that characterization of Porter is entirely fair. She reminded me much more of Joe Pesci in Goodfellas. “You think I’m funny? Like a clown?”

I’m sorry to have to report this story, which is so hideous you might want to skip it. But if you’ve a strong stomach, read through the heartbreaking details of this outrage against an Austrian senior citizen. Born in 1943 in Nazi-occupied Austria, growing up in the rubble of the Second World War, she never could have imagined that her fate at age 82 would be this one: rape at the hands of an Afghan “refugee” caregiver, which her son would have to witness on security camera footage.

Trump Achieves First Stage of Gaza Peace Deal
In some much-needed happy news, there seems to be genuine progress in getting Israeli hostages released and ending the ongoing conflict in Gaza between Israel and the genocidal terrorist organization Hamas. Creative Destruction Media reports:
The Trump administration has achieved at least on paper the initial stages of a peace deal between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The deal includes release of prisoners on both sides, aid to Gaza residents, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from approximately 70% of the disputed territory.
President Trump has been intimately involved in the negotiations that in part played out on national TV, as Secretary of State Rubio had to leave a televised meeting with Trump present.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has just spoken with US President Donald Trump.
The two held a very warm and emotional conversation, congratulating each other on the historic achievement of signing the agreement for the release of all the hostages.
The Prime Minister thanked President Trump for all his efforts and for his global leadership, while President Trump praised the Prime Minister for his determined leadership and the actions he has taken.
