Trump Admin Has Sent More Than 500K Illegal Immigrants Packing

527,000 already out — and the push for one million is on.

The Trump administration has already deported more than 527,000 illegal immigrants, the Department of Homeland Security announced Tuesday.

At the current pace, federal authorities could hit 600,000 deportations by the end of President Donald Trump’s first year in office.

Assistant Homeland Secretary Tricia McLaughlin called the progress “just the beginning.”

“President Trump and Secretary Noem have jump-started an agency that was hamstrung and barred from doing its job for the last four years,” McLaughlin said.

“In the face of a historic number of injunctions from activist judges and threats to law enforcement, DHS, ICE and CBP have not just closed the border, but made historic strides to carry out President Trump’s promise of arresting and deporting illegal aliens who have invaded our country,” she continued.

“Illegal aliens are hearing our message to leave now or face the consequence: Migrants are now turning back before they even reach our borders. Migration through Panama’s Darien Gap is down 99.99%.”

The deportation milestone comes amid a major shake-up at ICE led by Homeland Security senior adviser Corey Lewandowski.

Several ICE offices will now be headed by officials poached from Border Patrol — a shift that’s already sparked an internal tug-of-war between Lewandowski, Trump’s Border Czar Tom Homan, and acting ICE Director Todd Lyons over deportation strategy.

Border Czar Tom Homan on Tuesday reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing record deportations and said he was actively working with the White House, despite reports of leadership changes at ICE.

“We’re not going to be slowed down by any story about changes in leadership. I can tell you that the Trump administration is dedicated to achieving a record deportation, that vast majority being criminal aliens,” he said on Fox News. “As far as personnel changes, that’s under the purview of the Secretary of Homeland Security.”

“I’m at the White House working with people like Stephen Miller, one of the most brilliant people I’ve ever met, to come up with strategic policies and plans — how to get success, how to maintain success, and how to get the numbers ever HIGHER!” he confirmed.
