It was a night of patriotism, faith, and remembrance.
At the 2025 Fox Nation Patriot Awards in Brookville, New York, Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk took the stage to accept the inaugural Charlie Kirk Legacy Award — a tribute to her late husband’s enduring fight for truth and freedom.
“Charlie would always tell myself and others that America is worth fighting for, and it is, always will be,” she said, her voice steady but emotional.
The award honors individuals who uphold Charlie Kirk’s core values — freedom of speech, faith, and family. Erika, now leading the organization he founded at just 18 years old, has become the living embodiment of that mission.
Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10 at Utah Valley University, a tragedy that stunned the conservative movement and left behind a grieving wife and two young children. He would have turned 32 in October.
From the stage, Erika reflected on his unshakable conviction and one of his favorite lines: “‘It’s not how I’m saying it that’s upsetting people. It’s the fact that I’m saying the truth that’s upsetting people.’”
She’s now carrying that torch. Just weeks after his death, she followed his example — speaking before a packed house at the University of Mississippi, rallying young Americans to stay bold in their beliefs.
“Evil wins when good people stay silent,” she said, echoing the defiant spirit that defined her husband’s life. “And, so, for the rest of my life, I will make sure that I don’t stay silent. I’ll keep speaking the truth, no matter the cost.”
It was a night of grief and grace — a powerful reminder that while Charlie Kirk is gone, his voice lives on through the one person who knew him best.
