Fetterman Admits ‘No One Really Knows’ Who’s Running His Party

Keystone State Sen. John Fetterman lit up his own party Tuesday — revealing he had zero contact from Senate boss Chuck Schumer during the bruising government shutdown fight.

“I was not in a conversation, or I never got any outreach,” Fetterman told reporters, blasting the party’s lack of coordination. “I was always a hard yes to keep our government open.”

Fetterman’s comments came after Axios reported that Schumer privately lobbied moderate Democrats not to cave during the standoff — but apparently left Fetterman out of the loop.

Asked who was running the show for Democrats in Congress, Fetterman didn’t sugarcoat it: “No one really knows.”

And he didn’t stop there. “My values are reflected in my vote and the things that I support here, and if that might put me at odds with parts of my party, I’m okay with that,” he said. “We need to be a … big tent party.”

The jab underscores growing tension inside the Democratic ranks — and raises a blunt question: who’s actually leading this party?

Fetterman also stopped by Hannity Monday night to share his thoughts on the government shutdown and conceded the “chaos” that ensued made the entire thing pointless.
