The Democratic Party Has Totally Lost Its Way [WATCH]

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley stopped by Hannity Tuesday night to try to make sense of a Democratic Party in decline; he says the party has “totally lost its way.”

“I think it’s amazing that the Democrats are actually complaining and whining and fighting each other over the fact that they didn’t inflict enough pain — this supposed party of the working class — is now out there saying, ‘Gee, we really should make people suffer more,’” Hawley told Hannity.

“This party has totally lost its way and totally lost its moral bearing,” Hawley added. “This is an opportunity for Republicans. We are now the party of the working class. We are the party that is the conscience of this country, and we are the party to lead because the Democrats have lost the plot 100%”

Hawley also dismissed that the shutdown was over affordable healthcare.

“This isn’t affordability at all on behalf of the Democrats. They are the party that drove up prices for everybody. Who drove energy prices through the roof the past four years? The Democrats did. Who drove grocery prices through the roof over the last four years? The Democrats did. Who drove down your wages, America? The Democrats did.”

“They’ve completely lost it. They’ve lost their compass and they’ve lost their conscience.”
