The Brew: Trump Supports Christian Foster Parents, Deemed ‘Unfit’ by Blue States with Pro-Groomer Laws

We’ve reported here in the past how states such as Massachusetts are deeming faithful Christians unfit parents, refusing them the chance to foster children if they won’t sign pledges to support transgender grooming, hormone treatments, and even physical mutilations of children convinced they’re transgender by activists at their schools. The Trump administration is pushing back, as Gateway Pundit reports:

President Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to promote foster care investment and expand resources for children in foster homes and those aging out of the foster care system.

As part of First Lady Melania Trump’s Fostering the Future Initiative, the “Fostering the Future for American Children and Families” executive order, federal resources will be dedicated to helping foster children succeed after foster care….

The HHS Secretary is also directed to work with the Director of the White House Faith Office and the Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs to “take appropriate action to address State and local policies and practices that inappropriately prohibit participation in federally-funded child-welfare programs by qualified individuals or organizations based upon their sincerely-held religious beliefs or moral convictions” and to “take appropriate action to increase partnerships between agencies and faith-based organizations and houses of worship to serve families whose children have been placed in foster care or are at risk of being placed in foster care.”

If your goal is really to start a civil war, the best way is to say that your political opponents are unfit parents.

New Socialist Mayor of Seattle Grabs Dictatorial Power Over Grocery Stores

Leftist mayors nationwide are refusing to enforce laws against misdemeanors such as shoplifting. New York City’s Zohran Mamdani has made such a pledge, while touting government-run food stores of the kind once famous for empty shelves in the Soviet Union. In Seattle, the newly elected far-left mayor Katie Wilson marked her victory by threatening food stores that dare to shut their doors in the face of government-sponsored crime waves, promising Soviet-style grocery stores in Washington State as well:

Anarcho-Tyranny Reigns in Blue States

You don’t need to read dystopian novels such as The Camp of the Saints or 1984 to see what the Left has in store for our country if it triumphs. Just look at the ordinary headlines flooding in from blue states — such as Maryland. Again from Gateway Pundit:

[O]n November 7, James Bowman III, 40, was arrested for domestic-related assault after he allegedly punched a woman in the face and bit her hand.

The woman should have felt some measure of relief/safety knowing her alleged attacker was behind bars.

Instead, officials in the Blue State of Maryland released Bowman from jail with no bail requirement under the condition that he doesn’t abuse the woman he allegedly attacked again.

An hour later, according to officials, he then returned to the victim’s house and allegedly assaulted the woman again, this time while she was holding a baby.

The hardest part of this story for decent people to wrap their minds around is this: Such crimes as these are not a bug of Leftist policy. They are a feature. This level of day-to-day chaos is meant to break the spirits of ordinary citizens, to make us eager for government control that will protect us, at the price of every liberty Americans once treasured. A few years of madness like this, and Americans will be happy to accept sharia patrols, or Antifa “community policing,” as the price of staying alive.

Satanic Temple Loses Court Case Defending Abortion as First Amendment Religious Ritual

On the bright side, not every judge in America is insane, brain-dead, or possessed. The Idaho Statesman reports:

The Satanic Temple, based in Salem, Massachusetts, sued Idaho Attorney General Raul Labrador, Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts and the state, arguing that Idaho’s abortion ban, which is among the most stringent in the nation, violates the Constitution. The lawsuit, filed in federal court, was decided by Chief U.S. District Court Judge David Nye in Boise. He summarized The Satanic Temple’s arguments: The ban extracted economic value from pregnant women’s wombs, in violation of the Fifth Amendment; effectively made pregnant women slaves, in violation of the 13th Amendment; gave unconstitutional preferences to rape victims, in violation of the 14th Amendment; and violated Idaho’s religious freedom statutes. The Satanic Temple sued after the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which gave states authority to ban or restrict abortion. Idaho’s ban outlaws nearly all abortions with narrow exceptions….

“TST stands alone because we are the only entity that can assert a religious liberty claim that terminating a pregnancy is a central part of a religious ritual that encourages self-empowerment and affirms bodily autonomy,” The Satanic Temple says on its site. “This means that the imposition of waiting periods and mandatory counseling is akin to demanding a waiting period and counseling before one can be baptized or receive communion.”

This is what we’re dealing with, people. Act and vote accordingly.

Union Representing Employees of Democrat Party Protests Cruel Requirement for Actual Work

Okay, when Haman gets hanged on his own scaffold in the Book of Esther, we have to agree … that’s funny. The Jewish people thought so, which is why they still make Haman hats (“Hamantaschen”) and eat them to celebrate the defeat of his genocidal schemes against God’s people. Well, here’s a news story along similar lines, with villains paying the price for the madness they have fostered. The New York Post reports:

Staffers at the Democratic National Committee seethed over the party’s new directive to show up to the office and work in-person five days a week, blasting the order as “shocking” and “callous.”

DNC Chairman Ken Martin informed workers during an all-staff meeting on Wednesday that the national Democratic Party apparatus will require its entire Washington, DC-based staff to return to full in-person work starting in February.

“It was shocking to see the DNC chair disregard staff’s valid concerns on today’s team call,” the DNC staff union leadership fumed in a statement first reported by the New York Times. …

GOP operatives also had a field day over the drama.

“This is hilarious. DNC staffers are ‘shocked’ at being expected to show up to work during a midterm campaign cycle,” Republican National Committee press secretary Kiersten Pels mused. “Is this a political committee or a daycare?”

“DNC staffers are melting down after being told they actually have to show up to work again for the first time in five years,” National Republican Congressional Committee press secretary Mike Marinella swiped.

I for one support the demands of these Democrat workers. They shouldn’t be required to show up in person, answer phone calls, or even respond to emails. We’d all be a whole lot safer if these people were simply allowed to go off the grid indefinitely, while still collecting their checks.

U.S. to Target Antifa Terror Groups with Foreign Ties

The Stalin-founded organization Antifa has been terrorizing American cities for years — targeting court houses, churches, pro-lifers, and ICE employees. Now it seems that the Trump administration is reaching for all the legitimate powers it has to prosecute these totalitarian street gangs:
