At the heart of Texas’s current cultural flashpoint lies the contentious EPIC City project—a 402-acre master-planned development straddling Collin and Hunt Counties, spearheaded by the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC). Envisioned as a self-contained community with over 1,000 homes, a K-12 faith-based Islamic school, a central mosque, assisted living facilities, apartments, and clinics, it promises a haven tailored to Muslim families.

Dept. of Justice to Investigate Jeffrey Epstein’s Ties to the Clinton Family
There’s no doubt about it — President Donald Trump and his team fumbled the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. There’s something deep and dark at the heart of the human-trafficking operation that CIA-connected Jeffrey Epstein was operating, roping in elite customers such as Britain’s Prince Andrew, and hosting people ranging from Bill Gates to Bill Clinton on his infamous sex-abuse island in the Caribbean. Trump and others such as now FBI director Kash Patel made headlines discussing this case for years, then once in power, it seems some Swamp creature convinced them that telling the truth about the apparent Deep State honeypot-blackmail business Epstein was running on the backs of underage girls was a threat to “national security.” Bad move. No nation’s security is worth covering up this kind of crime.
Now that Trump’s hand has been forced, he seems to be turning this scandal back in the direction it belongs. Headline USA reports:
Attorney General Pam Bondi said Friday that she has ordered a top federal prosecutor to investigate sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s ties to Trump political foes, including former President Bill Clinton.
Bondi posted on X that she was assigning Manhattan U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton to lead the probe, capping an eventful week in which congressional Republicans released nearly 23,000 pages of documents from Epstein’s estate and House Democrats seized on emails mentioning Trump.
After all, it wasn’t Donald Trump’s portrait that was hanging on the wall of Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion. It was a painting of Bill Clinton, clad in the blue dress of decades-younger Monica Lewinsky. Remember that Epstein claimed he had helped to found the lucrative “non-profit” boondoggle that is the Clinton Foundation.
Which party was on Epstein’s side? A New York Post story gives us a hint:
Jeffrey Epstein was feeding questions to Rep. Stacey Plaskett during a 2019 congressional hearing — and giving her real time help on how to damage President Trump’s reputation, newly released documents show.
The texts, first reported by the Washington Post, show the convicted pedophile pontificating with Plaskett during a Feb. 27, 2019 House Oversight Committee hearing in which the then-former president’s ex-attorney Michael Cohen testified about Trump’s alleged payments to mistresses to silence stories before the 2016 election. Trump has vehemently denied all allegations.
In the texts, Epstein appeared to be watching on television while Cohen brought up former Trump executive assistant Rhona Graff in his testimony.

We’ve reported it here before: The U.S. Catholic bishops made back every penny of the $5 billion they paid out for sex abuse cases from government contracts for resettling immigrants over the past 15 years. Perhaps it’s not surprising that the Vatican is squealing over U.S. efforts to enforce its just, bipartisan immigration laws — despite the fact that the Catholic Catechism affirms America’s perfect right to do so.

The U.S. bishops said nothing when 450,000 unaccompanied children went missing in just the last year of the Biden regime. That didn’t affect their bottom line. But the Trump administration is looking out for those children. The Department of Homeland Security has announced:
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) launched an initiative with our state and local law enforcement 287(g) partners aimed at protecting the 450,000 unaccompanied children (UAC) illegally smuggled over the border and placed with unvetted sponsors under the Biden administration.
This new law enforcement partnership, known as the UAC Safety Verification Initiative, represents ICE’s commitment to protect vulnerable children from sexual abuse and exploitation through collaboration with 287(g) law enforcement partners. The primary focus of this initiative is to conduct welfare checks on these children to ensure that they are safe and not being exploited.
The Biden administration’s open border policies empowered human and sex traffickers. The Trump administration is taking a sledgehammer to human trafficking rings and ensuring these children who were smuggled across the border are not being abused.
“Secretary Noem is leading efforts to rescue and stop the exploitation of the 450,000 unaccompanied children the Biden administration lost or placed with unvetted sponsors. Many of the children who came across the border unaccompanied were allowed to be placed with sponsors who were smugglers and sex traffickers. The Trump administration has located more than 24,400 of these children in-person, in the United States, through visits and door knocks,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “We’ve jumpstarted our efforts to rescue children who were victims of sex and labor trafficking by working with our state and local law enforcement partners to locate these children. President Trump and Secretary Noem are laser-focused on protecting children and will continue to work with federal, state, and local law enforcement to reunite children with their families.”
The next time some lavender pastor says something about “justice for the undocumented,” ask him what he has done for these exploited children. Then find a different church.
Cartel-Linked Mexican President Faces Massive Youth Protests
The Daily Mail (U.K.) reports on the chaos that prevails in our southern neighbor, Mexico:
Rioters stormed the barricades outside the presidential palace in Mexico City as an anti-cartel protest descended into chaos.
Mobs of frustrated, mostly Gen Z Mexican protestors traded blows with cops and screamed slogans about how corruption and cartel killings
have spiraled out of control in their country.Thousands of people filled the streets of the nation’s capital and marched to the palace, which is the official residence of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the progressive politician who took office last October.
The demonstration, largely organized by young activists and supported by older supporters of opposition movements, was the culmination of citizens’ frustration with the government’s inability to stop violence and provide economic opportunity.
Protestors, many of whom were calling for Sheinbaum’s resignation, were seen trying to breach police barricades around the palace.
Authorities responded by shooting tear gas out into the crowd, causing people to run in all different directions.
Clashes between citizens and police lasted for hours, but eventually order was returned to the area around the palace.
But it’s totally unreasonable for Americans to want to exert some sort of control over how many people from that chaotic country, where ultra-violent cartels control large swathes of society, wander into our country. You’d have to be some kind of racist.
