Sir Winston Churchill famously acknowledged that democracy “is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” Mr. Warren writes: “Popular Democracies” exterminated, together with many other works of Satan. You might call me an ‘Enemy of Democracy,’ and certainly of the ideologies and abominations that it has invariably advanced – in the twenty-five centuries since Cleisthenes began tinkering with the Athenian mind.”
