Trump When Asked About Striking Inside Mexico to Stop Drugs — ‘That’s Okay With Me’ [WATCH]

“Every boat we knock out saves 25,000 American lives.”

While speaking with the press from the Oval Office this week, President Trump confirmed his commitment to stopping deadly drugs from pouring into the country.

Trump spoke with reporters about targeting “narco-terrorists” in the Caribbean Sea and said he would be “okay” with using that same strategy on land.

“Would I launch strikes in Mexico to stop drugs? That’s okay with me,” Trump said. “Whatever we have to do to stop drugs. I looked at Mexico City over the weekend. There are some big problems over there.”

“If we had to, would we do there what we’ve done to the waterways? … We have almost no drugs coming in from the waterways. Every boat we strike saves 25,000 American lives,” Trump said.

Trump also said he would be “proud” to target cocaine factories in Colombia.

“Would I knock out those facotis? I’d be proud to do it, personally … because we would save millions of lives by doing it,” Trump said.

Pressed on whether he would ask Mexico’s permission before striking drug traffickers on their soil, Trump replied: “I wouldn’t answer that question.”

“I’ve been speaking to Mexico. They know how I stand,” Trump added. “We have lost hundreds of thousands of people to drugs, so now we’ve stopped the waterways. We know every route. We know the addresses of every drug lord. We know their address. We know their front door. We know everything about every one of them. They’re killing our people. That’s like a war.”
