Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is Lying About His City’s Crime [WATCH]

The man arrested for setting an innocent young woman on fire on a Chicago train had more than 70 prior arrests — a violent criminal history stretching back years. Federal officials were blunt: he “had no business being on the streets.”

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson tried to dismiss the violence as an isolated incident.

He’s “simply lying,” Hannity said during Thursday night’s monologue, tackling the raging violent crime crisis on the left.

“His city is a violent, dangerous disaster. This was the opposite of an isolated incident … there is roughly one crime committed every three hours on Chicago’s transit system every single day,” Hannity said.

“We could spend all night and show you every horrific headline — this is anything but rare or random in terms of what happens in Chicago every day,” Hannity continued.

“Clearly, Mayor Johnson needs a reality check. Chicago needs a new mayor and Illinois needs a new governor,” Hannity added.

But instead of addressing the crime crisis, lawmakers on the left continue to attack President Trump and blame him for the state of decay in their cities.
