Trump Hits Omar’s Marriage to Brother Again as Questions Resurface on X

Far-left Democrat Ilhan Omar’s curious marital history went viral again this week on X and after President Donald Trump roasted the ungrateful Somali refugee during a speech on Tuesday.

But that’s not the only unwelcome news for the congresswoman from Minnesota. Border czar Tom Homan told Newsmax that the best fraud investigator at Homeland Security Investigations has checked Omar’s immigration file. That file, Homan said, reveals immigration fraud.

That’s not good for Omar, who has openly bragged about being a Somali agent of influence.

Trump’s Speech

Speaking at an affordability event in Pennsylvania, Trump unloaded on the beturbaned Muslim after briefly discussing the Somali.

“I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is,” Trump raspily said:

With her little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but b***h. She’s always complaining. She comes from a country where, I mean it’s considered about the worst country in the world.

Omar’s homeland, Somalia, Trump said, has no military, no police, and no parliament. “They don’t know what the hell the word parliament means,” and their policing means “they kill each other all the time.”

“We oughtta get her the hell out!” Trump continued. “She married her brother in order to get in!”

“I’ve also announced a permanent pause on Third World migration, including from hellholes like Afghanistan, Haiti, Somalia and many other countries,” Trump said. 

Then he explained why he stopped the Third World immigration:

We always take people from Somalia, places that are a disaster, right? Filthy, dirty, disgusting, ridden with crime. The only thing they’re good at is going after ships.

Consanguineous Marriage

Also reprising the claim that Omar married her brother was Tesla tycoon Elon Musk, who reposted Fox talker Laura Ingraham, who linked to the Daily Mail’s exposé in 2020 about Omar’s incestuous marriage.

Omar’s complex marital history involves multiple marriages and divorces, as well as her affair with a married political consultant, whose consultancy received millions from Omar’s campaign. It was the subject of a Federal Election Commission complaint. 

The Daily Mail found Abdihakim Osman, a Somali community leader in Minneapolis, who gave the publication the straight dope on Omar’s nuptial shenanigans. He confirmed that Omar married her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, a British subject.

Osman told the Mail that Omar admitted she would “do what she had to do to get [Elmi] ‘papers’ to keep him in [the] U.S.”

Student-loan Fraud

As well, Osman told the Mail, “she said she needed to get papers for her brother to go to school. We all thought she was just getting papers to allow him to stay in this country.”

That would mean Omar, who denies the consanguineous marriage, committed student-loan fraud, another suspicion among those who’ve looked into her shady past. That past includes a marriage to a fellow named Ahmed Hirsi in 2002, from whom she supposedly separated in 2008 to marry Elmi in 2009, although the three lived together in North Dakota.

Reported the Mail:

Elmi and Omar married on February 12, 2009 at a Hennepin County office in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, southwest of Minneapolis, their marriage license shows. Omar said she and Hirsi [her first husband] had separated in 2008, and because their faith-based union was never recognized by law, neither is their separation.

Elmi and Omar said they lived together at an address in Columbia Heights, a suburb on the north side of the city.

The marriage was conducted by Christian minister Wilecia Harris. When DailyMail.com approached her last year, she would not discuss the ceremony or why a Muslim couple would have asked her to marry them.

Despite the new marriage, Omar and Hirsi, the man she “divorced” to marry Elmi, “were still together as husband and wife,” Osman explained.

Elmi and Omar needed an outside cleric to perform the ceremony, Osman told the Mail, because a Somali Muslim would know they were related and refuse to officiate.

Added Osman, “When she married Elmi, no one even knew about it … until the media turned up the certificate years later.”

Judicial Watch filed a complaint with the House Ethics Committee about the possible student-loan and immigration fraud. 

To be fair, Trump’s explanation for Omar’s incestuous marriage was incorrect. She didn’t marry her brother to enter the country illegally. She married him to keep him in the country.

Trump went after Omar for the same reason last week and in September.

Omar became a citizen, loosely using the word, in 2000.

Homan’s Threat

Riffing off Trump’s earlier comments about Omar, Newsmax asked border czar Tom Homan whether Omar was under investigation for immigration fraud.

The fraud investigator who reviewed Omar’s file, Homan said, confirmed that “there was immigration fraud involved.” The “statute of limitations became the issue in the last four years when this was first brought up” in 2020 because of the Biden administration, Homan continued:

[We’re] pulling the records, [we’re] pulling the files. We’re looking at it. But this fraud investigator who I know personally, one of the best fraud investigators in HSI (Homeland Security Investigations), said there’s no doubt. He reviewed the file. So I’m running that down this week … and we’ll see.

Last week, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said that 50 percent of the visas held by Somalis in Minneapolis — the scene of Medicaid and federal food fraud schemes involving Somalis — are fraudulent.

Noem was apparently referring to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services report that disclosed the fraud in October. The operation, USCIS reported, targeted “more than 1,000 cases that had fraud or ineligibility indicators.” As well, agents “conducted over 900 site visits and in-person interviews, and found evidence of fraud, non-compliance, or public safety or national security concerns in 275 cases — 44 percent of cases interviewed.”

One of the fraudsters was the “son of a known or suspected terrorist.”

Somali immigration fraudsters will be deported, Homan warned. “There are going to be multiple deportations coming, absolutely.”
