U.S. — Podcaster and amateur sleuth Candace Owens has vowed to honor Charlie Kirk’s legacy by doing everything in her power to destroy it.
Owens has pledged, for Charlie’s sake, to stop at absolutely nothing to burn down the movement he built, as well as bring pain and harm to every person Charlie ever loved.
“All of my efforts to dismantle Charlie’s organization and hurt the people he cared for, that’s all for him,” said Owens. “As Charlie’s family and friends receive death threat after death threat because of me, I want everyone to know I’m doing it for Charlie. His legacy was one of deep love for Christ, his family, friends, and Turning Point. Which is why I am venomously slandering every single one, and will do everything I can to burn it all to ashes.”
According to grief counselors, people generally honor a deceased man by sharing memories, comforting the person’s family, or participating in a cause cherished by the deceased. “Publishing the deceased man’s personal text messages, calling for the demolition of his company, and conducting a targeted harassment campaign against his friends and family — these are not typical methods to honor the dead,” explained Dr. Julia McIntosh. “A card, perhaps reading ‘I’m sorry for your loss’, would be more appropriate. Also, when grieving, it is customary to refrain from viciously attacking the late man’s widow, especially not when you do so to make cash off of a podcast. Something more along the lines of a hug would be a better option.”
At publishing time, Owens had declined to stop trying to destroy Charlie’s legacy as her amateur sleuthing was about to crack the case for Charlie’s killer being French and Israeli assassins wearing matching maroon shirts working with Marines who were part of a bumblebee cult and flew Egyptian cargo planes to stay at the LaQuinta Inn before popping out of tunnels.
