Trump Announces Special Competition for America’s 250th Birthday [WATCH]

President Donald Trump is rolling out a red-white-and-blue spectacle.

This week, Trump unveiled plans for the “Patriot Games,” a first-of-its-kind nationwide athletic competition featuring elite high school athletes from every state and U.S. territory.

The four-day event is slated for next year and will coincide with America’s 250th anniversary celebrations, organized under a new initiative called “Freedom.”

The format is simple — and unmistakably Trump.

Two athletes per state.
One male. One female.
No gray area.

According to the president, the Patriot Games will showcase athletic excellence, national pride, and what he called fair competition, while drawing a sharp line in the sand on women’s sports.

“Frankly, you’ll never see anything like it, and you’ll never see anything like it again,” Trump said in a video announcement. “In the fall, we will host the first-ever Patriot Games, an unprecedented four-day athletic event featuring the greatest high school athletes, one young man and one young woman from each state and territory. But I promise there will be no men playing in women’s sports. You’re not going to see that. You’ll see everything but that.”

Trump’s remarks echo his long-standing opposition to allowing biological males to compete in women’s athletic divisions, a cultural flashpoint his administration has leaned into repeatedly. The president has made protecting women’s sports a signature issue, and the Patriot Games are designed to embody that stance on a national stage.

But the athletic showdown is just one piece of a much larger patriotic rollout.

As The Hill reported, the 250th anniversary festivities will also include:
• A “Great American State Fair” on the National Mall
• A massive Independence Day celebration with fireworks and a military flyover
• A high-profile UFC event set to take place at the White House itself

Trump said the goal is simple: celebrate America — loudly.
