Hunter Blasts Joe Over Immigration, Afghanistan — ‘Obvious F–ing Failure’

Disgraced first son Hunter Biden publicly broke with his father in a sprawling podcast interview this week, blasting President Joe Biden over immigration and the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Speaking during a five-and-a-half-hour appearance on The Shawn Ryan Show, Hunter acknowledged deep failures at the heart of the Biden presidency.

“We need vibrant immigration,” the 55-year-old said. “But we don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources, and being prioritized above people that are actual, literal heroes, that are still recovering from 21, 20 years of endless war — or anybody else in our society.”

During Joe Biden’s presidency, an estimated 2.4 million immigrants entered the U.S. each year, according to the Congressional Budget Office, with a Goldman Sachs analysis finding 60% crossed the border illegally.

Earlier in the interview, Hunter claimed the Biden White House had secured Republican backing for a sweeping border bill negotiated by Sens. James Lankford, Kyrsten Sinema, and Chris Murphy — before the effort collapsed.

“And then Donald Trump stepped in six months before the [2024] election, and told [Republicans] that he was gonna primary every single one of them that voted for that, because we’re addicted to the problem,” Hunter said.

While the Biden White House repeatedly insisted congressional action was required to secure the border, Trump has relied on executive action across both of his terms to crack down on illegal immigration.

Hunter also delivered a blunt verdict on the Afghanistan withdrawal, calling the botched exit a personal failure for his father.

“It was an obvious f—ing failure,” he told host Shawn Ryan. “I think that there was a better way to do it, and … I can blame it on his generals, I can blame it on [other] people [for] the way in which we did it, but — and my dad always knew this also, is that the buck stops with him.”
