Hassett Takes Trump Admin Victory Lap on Strong GDP Report [WATCH]

NEC Director Kevin Hassett praised Q3 4.3% GDP growth on Tuesday morning; the strongest in two years. Hassett says the stronger-than-expected report is evidence that Trump’s trade policies are reducing the deficit, contributing 1.5 percentage points to expansion.

Hassett stopped by both CNN and CNBC to celebrate the good news.

“It’s really a fantastic number, and it’s a great Christmas present for the American people,” Hassett said. “President Trump’s trade agenda is working.”
