Kash Confirms Arrest of FBI Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Ryan Wedding, ‘Modern-day El Chapo’ [WATCH]

He went from the slopes to the underworld. Now he’s headed straight to U.S. justice.

Former Canadian Olympic snowboarder and FBI Ten Most Wanted fugitive Ryan Wedding has been captured in Mexico with the help of local authorities, Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed Friday.

Bondi announced Wedding’s capture in a post on X, saying the Canadian national was flown into the United States, where he will “face justice.”

And Patel didn’t just sign the paperwork — sources said he accompanied Wedding on the flight back to the U.S.

“At my direction, Department of Justice agents @FBI have apprehended yet another member of the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted List: Ryan Wedding, the onetime Olympian snowboarder-turned alleged violent cocaine kingpin,” Bondi said.

“This is a direct result of President Trump’s law-and-order leadership. Under @POTUS, criminals have no safe harbor. Director Patel has worked tirelessly to bring fugitives to justice. We are grateful to our incredible Ambassador Ron Johnson and the Mexican authorities for assisting us in this case.”

Patel struck a similar tone — and underscored how fast the hammer came down.

Wedding was the first fugitive added to the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list during Patel’s tenure and, “Now, less than a year later, he is in custody.”

“Wedding is believed to have been hiding in Mexico for over a decade – and has been wanted on charges for cocaine trafficking and murder since 2024,” Patel said in part.

“This is the SIXTH Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive this FBI has captured within a year — fugitives who had been on the run for almost 40 years combined. That’s no accident. President Trump is letting good cops be cops and the results speak for themselves.”

One year. Six captures.

And one former Olympian now headed for a courtroom — not a podium.
