Somehow winning an Olympic Gold Medal has become a bad thing. Since the SOTU, since they won it actually, everyone has commented on how Democrats and libs generally have decried the US Men’s hockey team for winning and daring to wave the flag and accept congratulations from the POTUS. It’s sort of funny, like Rodney Dangerfield showing up at Bushwood CC. But as we discussed yesterday, this silliness is born of a hatred that almost forces one to believe in Satan. Consider what Democrats have been standing for of late.
Their condescension has been legendary for years now – since Obama descended from Heaven to assume the throne. But now the condescension learned at the feet of the first African-American president has itself become racist. “‘His way of bonding with black ppl is to tell them how stupid he is & that he can’t read,’ rapper Nickii Minaj posted on X.” But then many of the policies of the Obama administration, especially Eric Holder’s DOJ, were racist, just towards non-blacks. It’s what we used to call “reverse racism.” But then if you know your history they always have been racist. To paraphrase John Kerry, they actually opposed to the Voting Rights Act before they were for it.
As the now 14-month-old, utterly devastating L.A. fires have revealed their ineptitude, their efforts to recover are simply becoming cruel.
In the nearly 14 months since their homes, schools, and community were largely destroyed in the Palisades Fire, victims have been ordered by the city to clear their empty lots of brush where their rebuilt homes should be. Most of the lots are empty dirt patches.
Now bear in mind, the Palisades fire erupted, in no small part, due to efforts to preserve a specific bit of scrub brush. As Victoria Taft said in the article just linked:
As if the magic, however, the environmentally sensitive milk vetch plant, for which the Palisades was sacrificed, isn’t quite as important anymore. Suddenly, homeowners — aka fire victims — will be fined if they don’t clear the brush away from their lots.
I quite frankly do not know what is more cruel – that they are not being allowed to rebuild or that thy have to pay, in the form of brush removal, not to rebuild.
Apparently Democrats are the party of fentanyl and drug cartels:
Republican and Independent voters reacted favorably when President Donald Trump brought up how his administration has cracked down on drug cartels and fentanyl, but Democrats appeared less motivated by Trump’s aggressive foreign policy stance.
But I have saved the best for last. Our opening bit if evidence was that the Democratic Party had apparently become racist, but it is actually worse than that story about a simpleton wanna-be presidential candidate – it applies to the policies of the state he currently runs:
A coalition of Jewish parents and civil rights organizations have filed the first antisemitism lawsuit against a U.S. state, accusing the California government of failing to protect Jewish students from a surge of antisemitic harassment, violence, and propaganda in the state’s public schools. The filing accuses the state of offering only “toothless remedies” to the scourge of antisemitism through a “glacial and opaque administrative process.”
The suit was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court by the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law and the Israel-advocacy group StandWithUs on behalf of several Jewish families. Defendants include a number of state agencies, among them the California Department of Education.
The lawsuit comes more than two years after the October 7, 2023 attacks on Israel, which the Brandeis Center alleges triggered an unprecedented wave of antisemitic incidents in California’s schools that has never been adequately addressed.
So, here is where we are. The Democratic Party, the party of the working man, the party of civil rights, has in recent years morphed into a party that is pathetically racist – grossly, perhaps violently antisemitic – cruel to its citizenry, forcing them to do what it refused to do – and apparently quite willing to permit the importation of violence and a drug that kills people even more than the violence.
And all of this they pretend to do in the name of love and compassion and good will. The perversion is extraordinary and has been on front-and-center display since the shooting of Charlie Kirk. Something is deeply wrong inside the Democratic Party. Again, one is forced to contemplate the reality of Satan.
