ICE Arrests Illegal Alien Charged With Attempted Murder After His Brother, a Philly Cop, Bailed Him Out

A Philadelphia cop bailed his brother, 27-year-old illegal-alien Jamaican thug Christopher Leon Bailey, out of jail after the brother road-raged and attempted to murder another motorist, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reported.

Last week, ICE collared Bailey. Before his brother, an immigration judge was involved in keeping Bailey on the streets when he freed him after his arrest in 2023.

Unclear is whether the far-left district attorney in Philadelphia and the city’s sheriff will investigate the matter. Both have said ICE agents will be arrested if they attempt to enforce federal immigration laws in the city and “commit crimes” while doing so.

Road Rage, Typical History

On January 23, Bailey “was the aggressor in a road rage incident, where he chased down an individual he almost hit with a car in Ridley Township,” about 18 southwest of Philadelphia, ICE reported:

The incident escalated into an armed confrontation where Bailey pulled a knife and attempted to stab the individual. Bailey then got back into his car, chased and ran over the victim, and afterwards, fled the scene.

Authorities charged the Jamaican goon with myriad crimes. They include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, recklessly endangering another person, and possessing an instrument of crime. Reviewing video of the assault led to a charge of attempted murder.

ICE arrested Bailey on March 16, which raises the question of why he was back on the street for ICE to arrest. Answer: Because his brother, the cop, bailed him out, ICE reported on X yesterday.

The cop “posted a cash bond Feb. 8, and the suspect was released without notification to ICE,” the agency reported:

[ICE] agents arrested him before he was remanded to the Delaware County Prison — in a sanctuary jurisdiction — March 16 when he appeared in court with his brother, who was in full uniform. Bailey will remain in ICE custody pending removal proceedings until the county issues a judicial writ.

Aside from that twist — a cop’s bailing out his brother after he was charged with attempted murder — Bailey’s story is typical, ICE explained.

In 2009, he overstayed a tourist visa and wandered about freely for 14 years until ICE bagged him on March 10, 2023. That didn’t sit well with an immigration judge. Thirteen days after that, the judge “declared that Bailey is not a public danger and ordered him released on bond.”

The motorist whom Bailey nearly murdered would beg to differ, but anyway, “Bailey’s criminal history includes arrests and convictions in New York City, including robbery, larceny, disorderly conduct, and possession of stolen property,” ICE reported:

In August of 2020, Bailey was arrested by the NYPD for criminal possession of a loaded firearm and criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction. On March 1, 2022, Bailey was convicted in the Kings County Criminal Court for criminal possession of a firearm.

After all that, the immigration judge decided that Bailey was a pretty good guy who should be set free.

Philly Resistance

Whether the unidentified cop, who showed up in court in uniform on March 16, violated city policy is murky.

The police department’s disciplinary code forbids “knowingly and intentionally associating, fraternizing or socializing with persons actively engaged in criminal conduct … or fugitives from justice; or others that compromises, discredits, prejudices or otherwise makes suspect an employee’s authority, integrity, or credibility.”

As well, the city’s ethics code requires a cop not to “permit feelings, prejudices, animosities, or friendships to influence my decisions.”

The cop’s inappropriate behavior might not matter given the city’s affection for illegals. In January, District attorney Larry Krasner and Sheriff Rochelle Bilal threatened to arrest ICE agents who attempt to enforce immigration laws. The pair of far-left, hate-Trump officials made headlines after an ICE agent shot and killed pro-illegal alien rioter Renee Good in Minneapolis when she tried to run him down in her car.

Said Krasner:

If any law enforcement agent, any ICE agent is gonna come to Philly to commit crime, then you can get the F out of here.

Because if you do that here, I will charge you with those crimes. You will be arrested. You will stand trial. You will be convicted whether it’s in state or federal court.… And you will do your time because Donald Trump cannot pardon you for a state court conviction. Do you hear me, ICE agents? Do you hear me, National Guard? Do you hear me, military?

Kranser did not elaborate on what “crimes” an ICE or other federal agent might commit.

“Let note that law enforcement professionals, real ones — not the fake, made-up ICE, probably Trump’s new army to attack citizens of the United States,” Bilal said, fuming that ICE agents wear masks. “Thank God for our district attorney, Larry Krasner, who said he’s going to lock ’em up,” she continued:

And I’m saying now, we are not going to whisk you away for them to hide your identity, because when you do it there, you get arrested there. No whisk away for them to hide you. None of that here. None of that here.

“You don’t want this smoke because we will bring it to you,” Bilal said in ghetto English.

The Trump administration has not arrested any state and local sanctuary officials for committing the crime of harboring illegal aliens as its officials promised.
