Former Planned Parenthood employee of the year Abby Johnson set TODAY as the “Day of Exodus” for abortion workers.

“Just seeing your shirt, the number 40 stirs something in me,” the abortion doctor said. “I couldn’t take it any more. I’ve already quit.”
The ex-abortionist said that every time she saw the volunteers wearing their 40 Days for Life shirts, it stirred something in her that she couldn’t explain…but she knew abortion was wrong and couldn’t bear to see vigil participants praying while she killed babies.
The 40 Days for Life team is helping the doctor to find healing–and another job!

Pennsylvania, Michigan, Colorado, and Texas
40 Days for Life teams in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Michigan, and Texas report low employee retention and staff shortages at abortion facilities and referral centers.
“I’ve never seen higher turnover than I have in the last nine months or so,” wrote Marty in Austin, Texas.
Chris in Michigan also sees evidence of staff turbulence, as a number of employee vehicles are no longer appearing. “We did have several weeks where [the abortion center] delayed opening for ‘training’ purposes, so it appears…some workers had quit,” he said.
Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania announced suspension of services due to “persistent” staffing shortages!
Winston-Salem, North Carolina
A couple in Winston-Salem asked 40 Days for Life volunteers where they could get an ultrasound to evaluate a suspected ectopic pregnancy. Planned Parenthood was going to charge $200.
Instead, Catherine–who wasn’t scheduled to be at the vigil but decided to pray while she was out running errands–was able to get the woman an appointment with a pro-life physician!
Iowa City, Iowa
An abortion-bound woman declined help from 40 Days for Life sidewalk counselors in the Hawkeye State. Thankfully, her grandmother stopped and talked with vigil participants.
“Not long after, the young woman came back out with wonderful news,” wrote Sheryl, the longtime Iowa City campaign leader. “She had changed her mind and decided to keep her baby!”
This is at least the second case of a baby saved with a big assist from great-grandma.
“We have family,” the matriarch said. “And we will help her.”
