Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Wednesday that American forces “will be hanging around” in Iran even after the two-week ceasefire, underscoring that the pause in fighting does not mean a pullback.
He said Iran understands the stakes.
“This agreement means that they will never, ever possess a nuclear weapon,” Hegseth stated.
