Authorities have charged 40-year-old Rolbert Jaochin, a Haitian illegal immigrant, in connection with the killing.

Investigators say Jaochin was seen outside the store holding a mallet and a knife before the attack, striking the windshield of a nearby SUV.
Moments later, he allegedly turned on the victim.
A witness told police the woman had just stepped outside when she was struck in the head, causing her to fall. Authorities say she was then hit multiple additional times while defenseless.
The weapon was described as a metal mallet with a blue rubber handle.
Police said the victim was unarmed and did not pose a threat.
The woman, whose identity has not yet been publicly released, was reportedly a store clerk and the mother of two teenage daughters, according to local outlet Gulf Coast News.
Surveillance footage released by authorities shows the suspect walking near the scene wearing a yellow graphic T-shirt and shorts.
