U.S. Military Strike Kills Three in Suspected Narco-Trafficking Vessel Operation

A U.S. military strike in the Caribbean has left three suspected narco-traffickers dead.

United States Southern Command confirmed the April 19 operation, describing it as a “lethal kinetic strike” carried out against a vessel allegedly tied to narcotics trafficking.

The mission was executed under the direction of Gen. Francis L. Donovan, commander of SOUTHCOM, and conducted by Joint Task Force Southern Spear.

According to officials, intelligence identified the vessel as operating along established narco-trafficking routes in the Caribbean and actively engaged in illicit operations at the time of the strike.

The outcome was swift.

Three men described as “narco-terrorists” were killed during the action, with no reported injuries to U.S. personnel.
