Shocking 42% of Democrats Think Trump Assasination Attempt Was Staged

A new YouGov poll has revealed that 42 percent of Democrats believe the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, was staged.

The survey of 1,000 Americans was conducted between April 28 and May 4.

Among Democrats, 34 percent also believed a more recent attempt by suspect Cole Allen at the White House Correspondents Association dinner was staged, while 26 percent said they believed Ryan Routh’s attempt at Trump International Golf Course in September 2024 was staged.

Nearly a quarter of Democrats believed all three attempts were hoaxes.

Belief that the Butler attempt by Thomas Crooks was fake was significantly lower among other groups: 21 percent of independents and 7 percent of Republicans.

Vince Coglianese reacted sharply to the results, writing on social media: “42 percent of Democrats believe the Butler, PA assassination attempt on President Trump was staged. This isn’t a small group. Massive numbers of Democrat voters are living in a complete state of delusion.”

From a pro-life perspective, the poll highlights a disturbing level of denial regarding real political violence directed at a president who has taken numerous pro-life actions to save babies from abortions.
