On Mother’s Day 2026, the Trump administration gave mothers, fathers, and unborn children something beautiful: a place to find real help.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services launched Moms.gov on May 10, 2026, a new federal website designed for new and expecting mothers, including parents facing difficult or unexpected pregnancies. The timing is impeccable. On the very day America honors mothers, President Trump’s administration chose to honor motherhood not with slogans, but with practical support.
The site points women and families toward pregnancy resource centers, Federally Qualified Health Centers, nutritional guidance, fertility and family-planning information, child investment tools, and other resources that support healthy pregnancies and stronger families. It helps mothers find free or low-cost services, including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, prenatal care referrals, parenting classes, diapers, formula, clothing, and counseling.

HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said it plainly: “This Mother’s Day, the Trump Administration is strengthening its commitment to America’s families by equipping mothers and fathers with the resources and information they need to build healthy, prosperous lives.” He added, “Moms.gov delivers critical tools and support to help parents foster healthy pregnancies, strengthen young families, and create brighter futures for their children. This is how you Make America Healthy Again.”
What a joyful contrast this is.
For years, women in crisis have too often heard one cold message from the abortion industry: you cannot do this. Moms.gov answers with something warmer, truer, and more humane: you are not alone. Your baby matters. Your life matters. Help exists.
That simple message can change everything.
A mother who searches for help in the middle of fear should not find only abortion. She should find people ready to walk with her, feed her, counsel her, care for her, and help her welcome her child. Moms.gov makes it easier to find help. It brings together life-affirming resources in one place and gives families a doorway into support, not despair.
Deputy Assistant Secretary for Women’s Health Dorothy Fink, MD, also emphasized the importance of supporting women throughout motherhood, saying, “On Mother’s Day, we recognize that the health of mothers and the health of women are deeply connected.” She pointed to the administration’s work through the Perinatal Improvement Collaborative and said HHS remains committed to women’s health “throughout motherhood and at every stage of life.”
That is exactly the vision our nation needs.
The pro-life movement has always known that mothers deserve more than abortion. They deserve love, medical care, material help, good information, and a community that refuses to abandon them. Pregnancy resource centers have offered that help for decades, often quietly, faithfully, and without fanfare. Now, through Moms.gov, more women can find them.
This launch also carries deep symbolic meaning. The Biden administration used federal power to promote abortion after Dobbs. The Trump administration has now used federal power to point mothers toward life-affirming care. That shift matters for unborn children, for mothers, and for the future of our country.
President Trump has once again done more for unborn children than any other president. He appointed the justices who helped overturn Roe v. Wade. He became the first sitting president to attend the March for Life. He defended conscience rights, protected pro-life policy abroad, and stood against using taxpayer dollars to fund the destruction of unborn children. Now, on Mother’s Day 2026, his administration has given mothers a federal resource that helps them choose life.
That deserves celebration.
Moms.gov does not shout. It does not scold. It opens a door. It tells mothers that help can be close by. It tells fathers that they have a role. It tells families that a child’s life brings responsibility, yes, but also joy, hope, and a future worth protecting.
On Mother’s Day, America honored mothers with flowers, cards, brunches, phone calls, and prayers. The Trump administration honored them with action.
And somewhere today, a young woman afraid of what comes next may find Moms.gov, enter her ZIP code, and discover that help is waiting.
That is a Mother’s Day gift worth celebrating.
