Congress Must Defund Planned Parenthood Again

We will soon mark a full year of Planned Parenthood being defunded, but time is running out to ensure it stays that way.

If Congress does not pass another defund by July 4, taxpayer funding will resume on the morning of Independence Day — the day we celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday. We cannot allow that to happen.

In its most recent Annual Report, Planned Parenthood continues to claim it supports women. Yet the report reveals just the opposite: in 2023-24, Planned Parenthood performed a shocking 434,450 abortions — the highest number in its history.

434,450 lives ended before they ever had the chance to begin. And the organization responsible for this loss of life proudly touts its numbers.

While ending the lives of hundreds of thousands of little babies and harming women in the process, Planned Parenthood also scaled back healthcare services like cancer screenings, pap tests and preventative care.

The numbers tell the story: Planned Parenthood doesn’t provide authentic women’s healthcare, and it certainly is not empowering women. Planned Parenthood is an abortion business.

For years, the abortion industry has unjustly relied on your tax dollars to help expand and promote their extreme abortion agenda — all at American taxpayers’ expense. We at March for Life Action are advocating for Congress to end the flow of taxpayer dollars to Big Abortion once and for all.

Americans deserve to see our tax dollars promote care that actually helps women and their babies. Keeping taxpayer dollars away from Planned Parenthood is a critical step in protecting women and girls from the physical and emotional harms of abortion and from profit-driven abortion facilities.
