Planned Parenthood knows that sex education and traditional means of marketing aren’t enough to capture the hearts and minds of young Americans. To make abortion seem cool, normal, and even trendy, it needs celebrities who are willing to shill its bloody wares to the masses. And that’s exactly what it’s doing.
This past week, the rock band Florence and the Machine announced that it will partner with Planned Parenthood on its upcoming tour. According to the press release, more than a dozen PP affiliates will table at these concerts to discuss “sexual and reproductive care” with concertgoers. Through this partnership, PP says it will “empower new audiences to have vital conversations about their health and defend their reproductive rights.”
Planned Parenthood is also targeting younger audiences, including minors, through partnerships with rising pop stars. Olivia Rodrigo, for example, received PP’s Catalyst of Change award last year for her abortion activism. The 23-year-old singer uses her platform to raise money for abortion funds and even invited these groups to table at shows during a recent tour. In December 2024, she announced that she had donated more than $2 million to women-focused organizations, including “reproductive rights” groups. She has also distributed the abortifacient Plan B and condoms at her concerts and frequently radicalizes young girls and women with pro-abortion talking points.

Another popular singer, Chappell Roan, has reportedly donated enough money to a local Planned Parenthood facility to be included on its donor wall. In May 2025, more than 250 celebrities, athletes, and activists declared their support for the abortion giant in its “I’m for Planned Parenthood” campaign. Even after PP’s aborted baby body parts trade was exposed in 2015, celebrities continued to declare their support for the business.
While most of us couldn’t care less about celebrity endorsements, the same isn’t true for many in our culture, especially young people. Planned Parenthood crafts the abortion narrative in our news, entertainment, schools, and social media, and pop culture personalities further promote its propaganda to make it more attractive to young, impressionable minds.
Ending Planned Parenthood will decrease its influence, but destroying its ideology is a much bigger fight. We must change hearts and minds about abortion to truly free our world from PP’s evil. And that starts at home with programs, such as the Culture of Life Studies Program, that teach pro-life values. Will your children and teens look to you or to celebrities for information about abortion?
