Man Switches Girlfriend’s Prescription With Abortion Pills Trying to Kill Her Baby

26-year-old Abdullah Mohmand of Bowling Green, Kentucky, has been “arrested and charged with attempted fetal homicide after he allegedly swapped out medication for his pregnant girlfriend, according to Kentucky State Police,” the Lexington Herald-Leader reported.

She said her boyfriend “had replaced her prescription medication with an unknown medication,” according to Kentucky State Police. “She advised that she was pregnant and had concerns for the safety of her unborn child.”

Mohmand is being held in the Barren County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. His arraignment is set for June 25.

The baby was not harmed.

According to published reports, the woman contacted state police on May 25 and said her boyfriend allegedly replaced her medication. “A search warrant was obtained, and during a search of the residence, investigators found the same drug that matched the ‘unknown medication’ found at his pregnant girlfriend’s home,” Corey Elam reported. On May 26, police arrived at Mohmand residence.

“The woman’s boyfriend told KSP [Kentucky State Police] that he had no knowledge of the misoprostol and said he agreed to have a child together with the victim,” according to Elam’s reporting “When law enforcement showed him the medication bottle, he requested an attorney and refused to answer any further questions.
