After Dobbs, the Fight to Protect Babies From Abortion Continues

It was four years ago today when it happened.

After nearly five decades of fighting, our movement pushed Roe v. Wade back in front of the pro-life Supreme Court majority we helped build, and that disastrous ruling was overturned.

The Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health ruling was issued, and it came down like a thunderclap.

The pro-abortion crowd went ballistic with dire warnings and threats of revenge.

Our allies in state legislatures immediately passed life-saving laws that recognize the God-given humanity of unborn babies.

It was a glorious moment, filled with hope for the future . . .

. . . but it was NOT the end of our fight. Far from it. Because during the past four years, Big Abortion has found ways to ensure the continued deaths of millions of babies!

Right now, abortion is the leading cause of death in America. Boys and girls in the womb continue living outside the protection of the law. They are denied the American promise spelled out in the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago. Their inalienable rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” are ignored and violated every day.

Big Abortion has done an “end run” around the Dobbs ruling to endanger babies and moms in all 50 states, using:

• Friendly court rulings that uphold abortion “rights”;
• “Shield laws” in places like California and New York where abortion sellers are protected even when they send abortion drugs into pro-life states; and,
• Unrestricted abortion drug access thanks to a Biden-era executive order which allows them to be sent through the mail letting these chemical abortion drugs invade our communities!

The Dobbs ruling empowered state legislators to protect innocent unborn babies. And we rejoice in the state laws that have saved lives during the past four years. Countless babies that would have been killed under Roe v. Wade are alive today.

But too many more have been killed. And millions more are at risk in the years ahead.

As we mark the four-year anniversary of the Dobbs ruling, let us recommit to the fight for the God-given rights of ALL babies in every state.
