Sometimes Trump Is Right – A Warning

Our world is full of fables about being convinced of untruths.  The Emperor Has New Clothes tells us about how easily we can fall prey to con men and how easily groupthink can aid that process.  Chicken Little tells us about how easily we can be fooled into thinking we are doing a good thing only to end up as a meal.  The Boy Who Cried Wolf teaches us that uttering falsehoods too often can mean we are not heard even when we speak truth.  So many classic and ancient lessons that we seem never to learn.

Astonishingly to many, Trump can be right.  The Reflecting Pool was, in fact, vandalized.  Because Trump removed Maduro from Venezuela, other South and Central American nations are moving in to aid with the earthquake recovery:

Then Javier Milei and Argentina stepped up. “Beyond any differences that may exist between our governments, President Javier G. Milei extends his hand in solidarity to the Venezuelan people in the face of this natural disaster, which demands a response from the entire international community,” his office said in a statement.

Then it was President Luis Abinader of the Dominican Republic, President José Antonio Kast of Chile, President José Raúl Mulino of Panama, President Laura Fernández of Costa Rica, President Daniel Noboa of Ecuador, and so on….

This would not have happened if Maduro were still in charge. He would have turned away or pocketed donations and limited on-the-ground help from many of our countries. We’ve seen it happen in the past. Several of these countries wouldn’t have even bothered. His regime would blame the damage on the sanctions from the “imperialists.” Most people would go without help, and the domestic situation would become so much worse than it already was.

The Democrats have an ugly reality nested in their party – The DSA.  This group of hardcore socialists have, as witnessed this Tuesday past, gained enormous power within the mainstream Democratic Party.  They have managed to do so because the mainstream Democrats have been so obsessed with Trump hatred that they failed to pay attention to what was happening in their midst.  All it took to be a good Dem was “Orange Man Bad” even if your ultimate goal was to undo the entire fabric of the USA.  The mainstream of the Democratic Party failed to see that the emperor was naked and walked right into the foxes den.  Soon, no one will listen to them.

Trump can be and has been right.  Sometimes he can be and has been wrong.  That’s pretty much true for any president.  But somewhere in the last 10 years or so the media and the Democratic Party have lost that basic idea.  They do not judge Trump by his actions, they simply look at Trump and see awful – even when he is right.  And so they live out the fables.

Those fables are meant to be warnings.
