Radical Pro-Abortion Group Will Spend $23.5 Million to Take Over Congress

The Abortion Lobby just put a price tag on flipping Congress.

$23.5 million.

That’s what Reproductive Freedom For All (RFAA) – formerly NARAL – one of the largest pro-abortion groups in the nation – just announced it will pour into the 2026 Midterms.

And that doesn’t even count what pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood, EMILY’S List, and others are planning to unload in the coming months!

It’s the most RFFA has ever spent on a midterm election, and they timed the announcement to land on the fourth anniversary of the day the Supreme Court overturned Roe.

They aren’t hiding what the money is for.

Their plan is to flip battleground districts in five states – Arizona, Michigan, Nevada, California, and Georgia – and elect pro-abortion politicians who will hand them control of Congress.

And once they have it, they intend to force abortion-on-demand back onto all 50 states.

This is exactly the fight I wrote you about when Congress let the taxpayer spigot to Planned Parenthood reopen on America’s 250^th anniversary. The Abortion Lobby is betting that pro-life voters will stay home in November. They are counting on you to move on.

RFFA’s president, Mini Timmaraju, says her focus this cycle is the federal level, because winning Congress is the only way they can “restore access” (meaning abortion-on-demand through all nine months) in all 50 states. She bragged that they have already “won most of the state battles.”

And the money is aimed squarely at independents, soft Republicans, and split-ticket voters – the persuadable middle they think they can peel away.

That last part should tell you everything.

They are not spending that kind of money because they are winning the argument. They are spending it because they have to buy the voters they can no longer convince.

And they’re afraid they are losing their grip on young voters.

According to Gallup, the percentage of Americans who say abortion is morally acceptable has dropped from 54% in 2024 to 49% today.

That’s a cultural shift happening in real time.

I am not surprised, though. This is the result of our hard work being done by Students for Life and Students for Life Action to build a culture where abortion becomes not just illegal, but unthinkable.

Students for Life Action is the only national pro-life organization that targets voters aged 18 to 34 – the largest voting bloc in the nation, and the exact voters RFFA is trying to target with their millions.

While they write seven-figure checks for slick ads, we put real pro-life students face-to-face with those voters at the doors, on the phones, and on campus.

You have seen what that does.

In 2023, three South Carolina Republican Senators joined with Planned Parenthood to kill the Life at Conception Act in a deep-red state where we had the votes. The press tried to crown them heroines.

But when their next election came and Students for Life Action showed up: Every one of them lost!

Pro-life voters did not forget. They held them accountable, and they sent them home.

That is the model. And it works whether the politician is a senator who betrayed us or a Republican in Congress who sat on their hands while Planned Parenthood got refunded.

So let them spend their tens of millions.

Abortion is losing favor with young Americans, and the Abortion Lobby knows it – that’s why they are reaching for their checkbook instead of their argument.

Money buys ads, but it does not buy the conversations we have on voters’ doorsteps or on college campuses which are not just converting a vote in one election cycle, but transforming the culture to one that respects Life.

Between now and voting day on Tuesday, November 3^rd, Students for Life Action is deploying students into these exact battleground states to identify, persuade, and turn out pro-life voters. But field programs run on resources, and the Abortion Lobby just outspent us by millions before the race even started.

The preborn babies on the other end of this fight don’t have $23.5 million. They don’t have a vote in November.

They have you and me.
