Dems are trying to create some distance after getting too close to the “America deserved 9/11” guy.
Fox News contributor Joe Concha highlighted on Tuesday what he described as a coordinated Democratic talking point after Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declined to name Hasan Piker when pressed about Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed.
In a Capitol Hill press gaggle, CNN’s Manu Raju asked whether El-Sayed needed to do more to disavow the commie cosplayer amid ongoing controversy over Piker’s past comments.

Ocasio-Cortez replied that she did not believe “a Twitch streamer” was what Michigan voters were focused on, steering the conversation toward affordability instead of answering the question directly.
Concha argued the phrasing was no accident.
“The official taking point has gone out that dictates that Hasan Piker’s name shall not be mentioned, and that he only be called ‘a Twitch Streamer,’” Concha said. “AOC laughed it up with Piker during an interview on his podcast, by the way. But thou shalt not ask her about that either…”
