President Trump unloaded on CNN Friday, calling the network “dishonest,” “unwatchable,” and biased against Republicans.
“Everything they say is slanted against the Republican Party,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They are truly FAKE NEWS! Thankfully, very few people are watching!”
Trump didn’t cite a particular story or segment that prompted the attack.

His ratings jab came as CNN continues to trail Fox News and MS NOW in cable-news viewership.
CNN averaged 624,000 primetime viewers in August, according to Nielsen figures released by Fox News.
MS NOW averaged 940,000.
Fox drew 2.13 million.
The gap was even wider across the full day. CNN averaged 439,000 viewers, compared with 599,000 for MS NOW and 1.4 million for Fox.
Trump’s speech at last week’s Republican midterm convention offered another snapshot.
Fox News, which carried the address live, averaged about 2.5 million viewers from 9 to 11 p.m. CNN drew 441,000 during the same window, while MS NOW averaged roughly 1 million.
Neither CNN nor MS NOW carried Trump’s speech live.
