Standing outside Gracie Mansion on Friday, actor Michael Rapaport told cameras that Mayor Zohran Mamdani has to go — and that he may be the guy to do it.
“Zohran the Moron must be removed from office,” Rapaport said.

He was at a Jewish community gathering outside the mayor’s official residence, and he made it clear this wasn’t a bit.
“I’m absolutely considering running for mayor,” Rapaport said. “I’m not playing around about it.”
Rapaport swore it isn’t about ego. He called himself a “concerned New Yorker” and said he’d step aside if somebody else looks more likely to beat Mamdani in 2029.
