Abortion Business in North Carolina Will Shut Down Next Month

An abortion business in Greensboro, North Carolina that was once the busiest in the Triad region will shut down next month.

This is a development pro-life advocates are hailing as a victory for unborn children.

The “A Woman’s Choice” abortion business announced on its website that its Greensboro center will stop killing babies on March 31. The facility will remain open for follow-up until its full closure on April 30.

“Our Greensboro clinic will be stopping abortion care on March 31st. Our clinic will remain open for follow-up care until our closure on April 30th,” the business stated.

“After more than 10 years of serving this community, we are closing our Greensboro, NC location on April 30th. We remain fully committed to your care — and you still have options close to home,” the announcement continued.

The abortion center directed abortion customers to its Danville, Virginia location, “just 40 min away,” which kills babies in abortions up to 20 weeks with same-day appointments available. It also referred customers to locations in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Jacksonville, Florida.

Pro-life advocates welcomed the news.

Love Life USA posted on X on Friday that the closure is official.

“A Woman’s Choice in Greensboro is OFFICIALLY CLOSING!! What was once the busiest abortion clinic in the Triad will shut down on April 30, 2026, according to an update published on their website this morning,” the organization wrote.

The post concluded, “Praise the LORD!!”

No reason for the closure was given in the abortion company’s announcement.

North Carolina’s current pro-life law, enacted in 2023, prohibits most abortions after 12 weeks of pregnancy with limited exceptions for rape, incest or to save the life of the mother. The law has steadily reduced the number of abortions in the state.
