AOC Dropped $50K on Pricey Hotel Stays, Dining and Renting Puerto Rico Concert Venue: Report

Sounds like AOC is living it up in luxury.

According to a New York Post report, Socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spent nearly $50,000 in campaign cash on luxury hotels, fine dining, and pricey venue rentals in Puerto Rico, even as she railed online about the island’s “gentrification.”

Federal filings show AOC’s campaign bled thousands at the swanky Hotel Palacio Provincial, including a $680 stay July 28, another $1,507 on Aug. 29, and a jaw-dropping $9,440.79 tab dropped on Sept. 29.

The “first-class,” “adults-only” hideaway boasts “grand colonial” charm — the kind the congresswoman claims is fueling displacement.

What a hypocrite — but she didn’t stop there.

On Aug. 25, her campaign funneled $3,861.20 to Hotel El Convento, a 19th-century boutique property celebrated for its “old world elegance.” In total, AOC burned $15,489.77 on lodging alone from July 1 to Sept. 30.

Meals? Also deluxe. FEC records show $10,743.13 spent on catering and dining on Aug. 25 and Sept. 29 — more than some New Yorkers spend on rent in a year.

And while donors footed the bill, AOC partied. She was filmed dancing in San Juan at an Aug. 10 Bad Bunny concert alongside Rep. Nydia Velázquez, soaking in the “Residency tour” scene packed with celebrities, including LeBron James, Iggy Azalea, Penélope Cruz, and Austin Butler.

Her campaign also shelled out more than $23,000 for “venue rental” at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico on June 24 and Aug. 25 — the same arena where the Bad Bunny show raged. Whether the spending was tied to her concert night remains unclear.
