BIG TECH COVERUP? Scandalous BLACKOUT of Would-Be Trump Assassin and Biden’s FBI Director: MRC Report

Does Big Tech want you to forget would-be Trump assassin Thomas Crooks?

New reporting has uncovered Crooks’s violent online threats, his involvement in furry and trans internet communities, and possible ties to a neo-Nazi group.

The revelations also raise serious questions about then–FBI Director Christopher Wray, who told Congress that Crooks had little social media presence and no clear political motive.

But according to exclusive findings by the Media Research Center, Big Tech didn’t just ignore the story; it erased it.

The MRC reviewed nearly 1,000 stories pushed by major news aggregators — Google News, MSN, MSN News, Yahoo News, AOL, and Apple News — and found zero coverage of New York Post columnist Miranda Devine’s November 17 exposé detailing how the FBI mishandled the Crooks probe.

From November 17 to November 24, across eight full days, none of the platforms featured Devine’s reporting.

The silence is disturbing, given the power of these platforms.

Google, MSN, Yahoo News, AOL, and Apple News have become America’s dominant news distributors, deciding which narratives reach millions. They function like shadow media outlets — and in Apple’s case, one embedded in hundreds of millions of devices.

Devine’s reporting, based on evidence from a source who uncovered Crooks’s digital trail, showed Crooks had a far more extensive online presence than the FBI suggested, including posts expressing violent thoughts.

That sharply contradicts Wray’s statement that Crooks had “almost no” ideological footprint. It also conflicts with former FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate, who implied Crooks held right-leaning views.

The result: questions about whether federal officials misled Congress, and whether Big Tech helped bury the story.
