Catholic Nuns Send Christmas Cards to Every Abortion Clinic, One Employee Already Quit

A coalition of Catholic nuns and pro-life advocates has launched a nationwide campaign to mail Christmas cards to every abortion facility in the United States, urging workers to leave the abortion industry.

Organizers say one abortion center employee has already resigned after receiving a card, citing its message of forgiveness and hope as the turning point.

The effort, organized by the religious order Children of Mary and promoted by the pro-life group Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU), aims to reach all abortion facilities still operating across the country. The pro-life groups say they are sending cards to 760 centers that either kill babies in abortions, sell abortion pills or arrange abortions.

Each card contains a handwritten note, a Miraculous Medal, and an invitation to contact former abortion workers who now assist others in exiting the industry.

“We want them to know that there is forgiveness, there is healing, and there is a way out,” Sister Maria Trinitas, a member of the Children of Mary based in Ohio, told The Federalist. “Many of these workers are in the abortion industry because they feel trapped. We want to offer them real hope this Christmas.”

The campaign quickly bore fruit: one abortion facility worker contacted former abortion clinic director Abby Johnson shortly after receiving a card and has now left the industry, according to campaign participants quoted in The Federalist.

Johnson, who runs the ministry And Then There Were None, helps abortion workers transition out of the field and has assisted more than 700 people since 2012.The Christmas card initiative follows a similar effort earlier this year in which pro-life activists sent Valentine’s Day cards to abortion facility staff.

Organizers say the seasonal messages are intended not as confrontation but as personal outreach rooted in prayer and charity.

“Christmas is about the birth of a child — the Child who came to save us all,” the Children of Mary said in a statement. “It is the perfect time to remind those involved in abortion that every life is precious and that redemption is always possible.”

As the cards continue to arrive at abortion businesses nationwide, participating nuns and lay volunteers say they are praying that more workers experience the same conversion this Christmas season.
