CENTCOM Shares Epic Fury Update, Shows How U.S. is ‘Dismantling Iran’s Defense Industrial Base’ [WATCH]

United States Central Command on Monday released before-and-after images showing the destruction of multiple Iranian military sites targeted in recent U.S. strikes aimed at crippling the regime’s defense industrial network.

Adm. Brad Cooper shared the photos in a video update on the ongoing campaign known as Operation Epic Fury, saying the images illustrate “what’s left of” facilities Iran had used to manufacture military weapons and support its naval operations.

The images included a naval drone storage facility near the Strait of Hormuz photographed March 1, an attack-drone production factory in Tehran from March 5, and the Yazd Military Depot struck earlier in the campaign.

After displaying photos of the facilities before the strikes, Cooper showed updated images of each location reduced to rubble following U.S. bombardment.

According to the commander, eight buildings destroyed at the Yazd depot were part of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps missile command infrastructure and were used to manufacture both light- and heavy-weight torpedoes.

“U.S. and partner strikes are doing exactly what they are intended to do, deliver on very clear military objectives to eliminate Iran’s ability to project power against Americans and against its neighbors,” Cooper said.

Cooper added that the U.S. military is also focused on neutralizing Iran’s capacity to disrupt global commerce in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical shipping chokepoints.

“Through a combination of air, land, and maritime capabilities, we have successfully destroyed over 100 Iranian naval vessels, and we aren’t done,” Cooper said. “We will continue to rapidly deplete Iran’s ability to threaten freedom of navigation in and around the Strait of Hormuz.”
