DHS Secretary Kristi Noem Testifies Before the House Committee on Homeland Security

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is set to testify before the House Committee on Homeland Security on Thursday about current threats to national security.

Noem said last week that the Trump administration is considering expanding its travel ban to more than 30 countries following last month’s shooting in Washington, where a National Guard soldier was killed and another wounded near the White House.

The troops had been deployed to the capital as part of President Trump’s broader crime-crackdown initiatives.
