I have Jim Sundberg behind the plate and Mike “The Human Rain Delay” Hargrove as rookies, which will allow me to have Kingman at DH for games in American League parks. On looking over the stats from the 1973 season, I noticed that I had winning records only against National League teams and on Astroturf, and for a moment I thought about telling Pete I was moving the team to Texas after all – but to Houston. Then the moment passed.
